License Failure Details
--------------------------------------------------
I keep getting the message "A valid license could not be obtained for 'Holdem Manager'. Please contact RVG Software Ltd for assistance." I tried resetting the p/w, that didn't work.

I just wiped and reinstalled my HD and everything worked fine up until SP3 was installed by Windows updates. I sent an email earlier this morning, but I'd like to play today. Can someone please help me out.

Here is the copy/paste it told me to add.

Enable the options to see Hidden Files and System Protected Files: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html

http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/images/hidden.jpg

1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)

2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

3. Update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

If you can't find those files, DO NOT delete any other files with similar names.

Please send your Reg.log from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder to support@holdemmanager.net.

1. Shutdown Hold'em Manager
2. Navigate to your RVG Software/Holdem Manager/Config folder
3. Create a file called LicDebug.txt
4. Restart Hold'em Manager

You should hopefully be able to enter your new code now. Once you have done this close Hold'em Manager, delete LicDebug.txt and restart Hold'em Manager.

Okay, still no dice.

Now it pops up a window that says "DeployLX Licensing Developer Mode is enabled. Be sure to disable this feature before releasing your assembly.", but it still won't come up.

Edit: btw, I've done everything that Fabio told me to in the emails as well. I'm not real sure I'm re-registering it correctly though. It doesn't seem to change anything.

Okay, still no dice.

Now it pops up a window that says "DeployLX Licensing Developer Mode is enabled. Be sure to disable this feature before releasing your assembly.", but it still won't come up.........

Then you probably have not deleted the LicDebug file you made.

1. Shutdown Hold'em Manager
2. Navigate to your RVG Software/Holdem Manager/Config folder
3. Create a file called LicDebug.txt
4. Restart Hold'em Manager

You should hopefully be able to enter your new code now. Once you have done this close Hold'em Manager, delete LicDebug.txt and restart Hold'em Manager.

If that doesnt help Please email me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.net/teamviewer. Please let me know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you.

Hi man,

I have exactly same problem, did all of the steps required above and the same pop up message appeared afterwards.

I didn't delete two files mentioned, because I couldn't find them. What was the solution given to you? Could you explain it to me or I would have to wait for the administrator's advice?

Thanx!

Hello, exact same problem and results as the other posters here. If you could post the solution asap I would be eternally grateful. Can't wait to get this fixed so I could play...

Did you create the LicDebug.txt file like Fozzy explained above?

If you cant figure it out please schedule a remote support session with our support. Email support@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread and your forum name, so we can setup a Teamviewer (http://www.holdemmanager.net/teamviewer) session.
