I currently have HEM 1.09.03.

When I import cake hh's it moves them to C:/HMArchive yet it doesnt really import the hands. It just reads the files without really doing anything. So if I search for my cake name in HEM it wont come up.

I always manually import my hands after the session so I dont really deal with auto import folders.

I downloaded the cake poker hand history converter demo (from cakepokerhandhistory.com) demo and it worked perfectly. It was able to convert hands via stars format (albeit only 10 per file cuz its the demo). Yet, I don't want to pay $50 bucks for full version if I don't have to.
------

Anyone else able to manually import cash game cake hands into HEM to review their play? If so, how?!!

Anythings I can do HEM support before I give in and buy this stupid converter program?

HM supports Cake with some restrictions, there is no need for a handgrabber: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=191

If that doesn't help, please answer and post these questions: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

I can import HHs very easily, but the oppos nicknames are wrong (''cakeseatnr''). Is this normal? Thanks

Yes, that is normal. Cake does not allow you to track opponents or use any real-time tools during the game (such as the HUD).

5. HUD's are not allowed at Cake Poker

The HUD will not display while playing at a Cake Poker table.
The Active Player Details Window will not populate any data.
The HUD will not display when using the Hand Replayer for Cake hands.
The Cash Games > Reports tab will populate your own data as you play, but the 'Use and group by currently active players instead of selected player' will not work for Cake Poker while playing.
