I'm not sure how to interpret the Tourney M info. What does it tell you?

M... is a term.. popular with people who (rightfully) love the Harrington on Holdem books.

(the tournament books)

He uses M (and Q) to dictate how you should play.
M is your stack devided by all blinds + antes.
So basically: how many rounds you can survive until you're totally blinded off.
And he uses a system like:

<5 DANGER ZONE
<10 PUSH/FOLD poker
<20 ORANGE ZONE
+50 GREEN ZONE

Ah, get it. Thanks a lot. I just started reading Harrington on Holdem. Haven't got to the M part yet.

Thanks for the quick response.

I know what M is but don't understand how it works in HEM.

Im at 15000 chips, blind 500/1000 ante 125 = 1625
15000 / 1625 = M9

According to the stat on my hud I have M6.

9 players pay ante = 9 x 125.
So 15.000 / 2625 (9x 125 + 500 + 1000) = 5.7

Thank you sir, looks like I didn't know what M is. :)
