I recently had to "clean up" my computer because of a virus, so I loaded
HM to a flash drive to save, but when I've tried to "re-load" the program
I'm having a myriad of problems. Is there a simple step-by-step or a
thread you could direct me to?--I couldn't find help in FAC--or will I
need to start over & lose my data base?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You installed your entire SQL database.. to a USB memory stick?

Just reinstall it using the more conventional method.

As stated in previous post, I had my computer cleaned because of virus
problems & Tech saved my HM to a flash drive which I cannot re-load
(I not sure why because I'm computer illiterate). Can I download my
second HM program--the one allotted for my laptop--and just start
everything over? If so, I'll need my serial, etc. e-mailed to me again.

Thank you.

email sales@holdemmanager.net for your key.

Backing your SQL database, doesn't work if you simply backup your ProgramFiles/PostgreSQL folder. It'll be close to impossible to access that data again.

It might work if you:
-1 install the exact same version of SQL as before
-2 overwrite all the data from USB--> harddisk
-3 attempt to access your old database.

The chance that this will work is... maybe 10%.
It's better to just reimport the HHArchive folder, so hopefully you have a backup of that as well.

For future, saving data:
-Export your database first in Database Management
-Backup your database in pgAdminIIII=
-Save your HHArchive folder and simply reimport everything.
