View Full Version : Hud importing HM is not?!?!?!?

Hi

I have a somewhat weird problem!! I have been playing for a while today, and first now I found out I have a problem with my holdem manager - All worked when I was playing and the hands got imported to the hud... But when I tried to see the report (under cash games menu) there was no hands... Then I tried to go to 'Sessions' (also under cash game menu) and found out that apparently my last session was in last week - and checked just to be sure it wasnt a date mix vs totally different players... So what have happened to my hands/session in holdemmanager?? And how do I find them?

Sounds like your database is damaged somehow.

Create a new one for a test and import some hands (you find the old hands in your configured archive folder. Default is c:\hmarchive).

Done that - and it found those two hands i've just played to test - not the rest of the hands from the day... but do I need to use the new database? I have a serious amount of hands in my old base which will take somewhere between one to two weeks to import!

No way to fix the old one?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.


*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21

The only thing you can try is a reindex via pgadmin->maintenance
