hold em manger wont start

hi there HM gives me the errror cant connect to server 107 etc,ive!ive de activeted fire wall etc and when i want to start postgres manually in server it gives me the eroor:windows could not start the postgresdatabase servives on the local computer,error 1053 :the servive did not respond to the start or control request in time!!!! gees ive am trying everything and nothing works what now!some times when i try to start up HM then the noramal sceen for auto imports will pop up for 1 sec then go to normal proplem of not been able to connect to prosgres !!pls help

As long as the postgresql service is not running you can't use Holdemmanager.

If it doesn't help we need much more details about your system.
Operating system, firewall/virusscanner, Postgresql Version.
Did it run before or do you try a fresh installation?

hi my operating system is vista,i am using avera as an anti virus and have turned off my fire wall to see if HM works and it still doesnt

Can you connect via pgadmin?
