hey guys. I have seen a lot of new Holdem Manager users on here looking for some help with there huds and pop ups to get them started. Here is mine. You may want to add or remove a stat here and there or leave it, but it will get you going.

The Hud layout is:

abb. name(with one decimal so it's shorter) |hands
VP$IP|PFR|Agg. factor
3bet|Fold 3bet|call open
flop Cbet|fold to Flop Cbet|check raise|won $ at showdown
steal|fold SB to Steal|fold BB to Steal

here it is at the table and a picture of it blown up:

The VP$IP, PFR, and Agg factor are larger fonts then the others, but all of the stats are larger fonts then the defalut setting to make it easier to read on smaller tables.

Here are all the pop ups. Some are the default pop ups and some I made. I have moved some of the stats in the VP$IP, PFR pop ups to make it easier to use quickly and not get lost in a large pop up. I just want to see the players stats by position in these pop ups and that's it.

The Check raise one is simple and gives you all the check raises by street.

When you hover over the hands state you get a BET pop up with some helpful bet and donk bet stats including barrels.

The steal pop up is the same over all three seat stats, but I added the fold to 3Bet in the 3 steal positions so you can see how they react to a re steal.

Here they are. A few of these are the same for a couple stats.

I have added the file for all of this. I think this is the only thing you need to use it. It is the "export" hud file.

You do not want to export the 'default' hud. I recommend you don't modify it at all. You want to create a new HUD, which will clone your selected HUD (the Default in this case). Then you set the default HUD on the Use For: tab to a site you never play, and set your new HUD up accordingly by Site or Any Site. Then you export the custom HUD. If people try and import a file named Default.xml, they will have problems. Any time the HUD is confused by the Use For: tab about what Config to use, it will revert to the Default HUD (even if set to a site you never play). http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=135

So I renamed it and assigned it to Pokerstars and exported it to a new filename.

No problem. They should be able to download either attachment w/o issues now.

An interesting side note, I wasnt able to download the XML attachment properly in Chrome. Luckily I have Firefox and Chrome open at all times. 1 on each monitor. :p

Hi mksmipalla & Fozzy... FYI

I read this & tried it:

The Hud layout is:

abb. name(with one decimal so it's shorter)

It does indeed give a shorter Ab. Name of 4 characters long
I then tried it with decimals = 2 & the Ab. Name came out as 3 characters long

This tidied up my HUD nicely - I was totally unaware of this 'tweak' & I suggest it should go in the manual

P.S. by extension if Ab Name allowed decimals = 4 we could get it down to just one character :)

how do I import this.

I have saved file to a new desktop folder. HEM> hud options> player prefs> import but it doesnt find the downloaded file - just shows empty folder?

Did it download as cash.xml or cash.download? When I tried downloading it in Chrome it downloaded as a .download file and was unusable. When I downloaded with Firefox it saved as the proper file type. Try a different browser and/or right-click > save link as

I just tried it using this file and it downloaded and imported fine. I'm using Internet explorer.

I imported, renamed, exported, and replaced his original file. Either .xml attached should be the same and work fine. One I made and named, the other one the OP attached after I explained the first problem.

I am going to try and upload my HUDs in the next few days hopefully. I started taking screenshots, etc.
