Hello,

Im using Holdemmanager at my office and in my home office, is it possible to use the same DB at both places?

The best solution would be if the DB could be online and the second best on a usb hard drive, is this possible and can it run well? (And how do I do?)

Its possible http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=154
but its not safe.

The best is to copy the handhistory files and import them on the other computer.

What do you mean by not safe?

Using a remote postgres server is difficult (I've never managed to do it) and can cause all sorts of connection problems. And it is usually a lot slower, especially if you have a large database on a slow USB harddrive.

I would suggest to have two databases. One on each computer. Lets call them Database #1 on PC#1 and Database #2 on PC#2.
Now you have two options:
-1 Manually make sure Database #1 and #2 are synchronized (weekly) by emailing handhistories back and forth (or using a USB memory stick)
-2 Use something like Microsoft MESH - https://www.mesh.com/welcome/default.aspx which will automatically synchronize whichever folders you want it so. Add your HHArchive folder on PC#1 and your HHArchive folder on PC#2 to be in sync. And frequently use the import from folder on PC#1 and #2.
