I have just installed W7; postgres 8.4 and HEM including latest patch

These are installed in Program Files (x86)

I have UAC down to zero.

The secondary logon is running; I have set the 3 exes to run as admin in properties

I copied my config over from my other HDD and amended the DB name to the HEM manager default

If I run HEM I get the following as the problem details in a "HEM has stopped working" errror dialog 1. However the error window remains open if I do nothing as does the HEM initialising database flash screen but HEM loads in any case

I was able to load some hands and everything seems to be working OK except for this open dialog

Holdemmanager is working behind the error message?
Are you using the trial or a licensed version?

I have a license but the one I was having the problem with is a trial

At present I have a 2nd HDD on my PC while I am trying to get W7 working. The version I loaded today is still running as a trial on the W7 drive.

My XP Pro OS on my other drive is for ongoing use while I set W7 up

I boot onto 1 drive or the other depending which OS I want to be in

It is not a dual boot program; I merely alter the BIOS

At the moment we think this is caused by the trial version (we had some other users with this problem). When you license the software it should work.

Roy is already examining this problem.

OK in that case is it possible please to release my 2nd PC code (my laptop) so I can use that license on this 2nd installation on my PC to test it?

Many thanks; ASAP please if possible

TY

Ok that worked on 2nd HDD - scanner as well as HEM no error dialog

I firstly tried to register but had forgotten to write down code so from the window that asks for name; organisation; code, I clicked "try" which returned me to the previous screen where I tried "Try" again and it loaded OK!

This might help track down the problem :)
