View Full Version : HUD not working properly with HM2 (zoom)

So my HUD isn't very stable. Here are some things I've noticed in the past few days.

1) The HUD shows up at the table (most of the time) but as I progress through the session and get more hands on players, it isn't showing me the updated HUD with the new hands. It's the same # of hands as the first hand I played vs. those payers. If I had 19 hands on someone at the beginning of the session, it says I still only have those 19 hands despite playing a lot of hands with these players.

2) Often times, it doesn't update in time. It'll show me the HUD of players that were at the table 1 or 2 hands ago and not the current ones at my table.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Have you updated HM2 to 6745?

Yea, I'm running 6745. Just updated yesterday and thought that might fix it but it didn't.

Which operating system?
Please make sure to start the Stars client as administrator

I'm actually running 6756 now. It was updated yesterday.
I have windows 7. I just put PS to run as administrator but I don't know if that would be the cause since I never had it set to run as the administrator in the past and HM2 used to work.

I'll update later to see if that fixed it.

Which Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

I'm using Kaspersky.

I have 2 of the 3 running as administrator. Holdemmanager.exe doesn't have a compatibility tab so I can't set it to run as administrator.

How do I add exceptions to the windows firewall? I'm pretty sure I have it turned off anyway.

I just updated all the windows updates, there were lots of them, however, that didn't fix the problem as I just played a session and same thing.

UAC is turned off.

Still not working :(

Can I send you a log or something so you can see what's wrong? Please give me instructions on how though.

This is pretty annoying.

I did and still nothing. I think it starts importing and then it stops. Like, my hud says I played 22 hands (assume 22 first hands) and then it stays at that for the entire session. Same thing with other players. I think it starts importing and showing hud, and then it just keeps showing it, but not with upto date hands.

Uninstall Kaspersky...

Could you please elaborate why? It worked perfectly fine with kaspersky in the past.

Why can't I send a log to someone in support?

We just want to make sure if its caused by kaspersky or not.
Uninstall it, try a session and see how it runs. Then you can install Kaspersky again. If Zoom was working without Kaspersky you need to configure the exceptions http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1011/Software+Security+Problems+%28Firewall%29
If it still doesn't work we need to arrange a teamviewer session. A log will not help in this case.

I've never used teamviewer before.

Please schedule a remote support session with our support. Email support@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread and your forum name, so we can setup a Teamviewer (http://www.holdemmanager.net/teamviewer) session.

And have tour teamviewer info ready.
please download this version of Teamviewer from http://www.holdemmanager.net/teamviewer (=Teamviewer 5, don't use Teamviewer 6)
