View Full Version : Problem this Preflop Cards tab.

I'm use HEM 1.09.03.
On tab Cash Games -> Preflop Cards, section Known Cards doesn't show color selections of cards (screen 1). Filter not enable (click Filter -> Clear). For any Quick Filters (for example, 3bet) i can't see highlights cards which i played this way (section Known Cards is clean - all cards white). If i click on AA or QQ in bottom table i see all this hands, but on Known Cards clean.(screen 2) Table in right-top corner - Unknown Cards also display zeros in all cells.

What can i do this problem?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? Comodo or Kaspersky?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171


If none of that helps, I will probably recommend a clean reinstall of HM using revo uninstaller. http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20816

I use Win 7 32bit, Win Firewall and MS Security Essentials.

All 3 .exe files are starting as admin.

I never have problems with connect to PostgreSQL.

I'm full uninstall HEM through Revo uninstaller, but it's not helped! Even default config after install HEM no working. Problem remained. I'm full export all hands, remove old DB, create a new UTF DB and re-import all hands into new DB. It also nothing change.


Whether there can be it a problem with my hand history?? I'm play on FTP last 2 months.

Very strange. My next suggestion would probably be to reinstall PostgreSQL completely. I will forward this thread to my colleagues to see if they have ever encountered this problem before. This is one of the strangest things I have seen.

I tried creating new DB's, tried reinstalling our pginstaller, and the enterprise db installer. Changed Regional settings from russia (russia) to english (us). Installed dotnet framework 4 beta 2, made sure IE and Windows were fully updated. Set firewall exceptions and all programs to run as admin.

Importing the hands to my test DB: I see the same results.

Looking at my own current DB that I just started the other day, I see some odd results, but not entirely empty screens. My DB only had 20k hands imported when doing this, so I decided to import my most recently exported hands.

I will post the results in a few hours after the import finishes. I just requested all my hands from ftp and stars the other day, and obviously FTP hasn't sent them to me yet. When I get those I was planning to start a new DB again.

I seem have found something. If choose in Date Filter a date range instead of just All Hands - all starts to work well. (see screen)
Looks like a problem with the mechanism of query of hands by time.
I hope it will help to find the decision my problem.

P.S. By the way, when i play with settings in Date Filter, HEM crashed. Unfortunately, i not saved screen :-((

This should be fixed in the next beta release, 1.10 Beta 4.
