Hi there, I am having a little problem with HEM. It came up with one of those messages that ended with the screen asking for the database info. After clicking a few buttons, downloading the 1.09 patch and restarting the computer that has stopped. However, the HUD is not coming up when I play and a look at my database suggests that most of the hands I'vejust played (Omaha Hi) have not been downloaded. I also noted that when I restarted HEM and pressed downlaod that it would find a whole lot of hands that had not presviously been downloaded and download then with errors.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

A quick look at my database shows me that only a few hands have been downloaded and most of them have been duplicated 4 times.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmupdate

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Make sure the hand histories are in English.

Try the table finder - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=54

*If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The "importing\hud data" folder
4) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

Thanks Fozzy, updating (for a second time) and then following the table finder advice seems to have done the trick.

Cheers
