Updated windows (patches), now does not connect.
Read the FAQ and forums, no help. Reinstalling also said wrong password although I use the default password and never changed.
Could not reinstall Postgresql (says not enough priviledges) although I run it as an admin

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?
Next time it says wrong password:
PT3's default name/password is - postgres/dbpass
HM's default name/password is - postgres/postgrespass
If that doesnt help:
1. Go to C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\data, move the the pg_hba file to your Desktop and open it with notepad.
2. Scroll to the bottom and change all md5 to trust. Save and close the file
3. Move the file back to the data folder
4. Restart the PostgreSQL service: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services
HM will accept any password now.

Yes I did follow the steops.
Vista, Windows Own firewall, Avira ANtivir
I tried all default passwords.
I even deleted the user after it did not accept any pws with the "net" command succesfullly.
The problem is that I can not install the postgresql anymore. "(says not enough priviledges) although I run it as an admin "
