Recently I had to run a repair on my windows xp, because it was crashing right after the windows logo screen. After that HM wouldn`t import my HH anymore.

I tried uninstalling both HM and Postgre (with revo), tried creating a new database (and still wouldn`t import) and nothing has worked so far.

I have my HMArchive folder, so I`m not worried about the data loss since I can export those again (tried but no luck).

Whenever I click on import from folder/file/auto import, HM just says "Importing..." but nothing happens, I checked my folders and everything is normal, the HH are there, they are just not getting transfered to the DB.

My last solution would be format and start over, but I can`t do that atm since I have a bunch of software that I don`t have the original cd`s with me and would take some time before I can get them back.

Thank you guys

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmupdate

Make sure the hand histories are in English.

*If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

Please www.7zip.org the hands and email them to me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread.

I use windows xp, I uninstalled avg and later on tried bitdefender and uninstalled it aswell.

Please note that skipping questions will only delay us in fixing the problem, as we'll have to re-ask the questions you didn't answer and wait for your response.

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
latest beta

2) a. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?

PS and FTP, error of not importing occur at both sites

b. Which type of game(s) are you playing? NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT
NLHE

c. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?
Yes

3) Often times, it is one setting or one box that has not been selected that causes the problem. Please see our detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with select poker sites to make sure that your HUD is set up properly for your selected poker site.

4) Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the correct folder.
Yes

4) If the hand histories are not showing up in the folder, then go back to the FAQ, as they should show you how to check the settings in the lobby to configure the poker site to save the Hand History and make sure its sending the Hand Histories to the correct location. Contact your poker site if your unsure to find out where you can set the location of the hand histories to save to.
HH check

5) So by now you should have confirmed in answering each question that you have setup the folders correctly and the hands are appearing in the correct folder.

Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager? Test this by playing a couple of hands and then going to the Reports tab in Holdem Manager. Navigate to Filter > Clear and for the date filter choose today. Do the hands that you just played import successfully?

No

5a) If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database.
No HH are imported into the new DB

6) Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work?
Didn`t work

7) If you open the hand history files, are they written in English? Note that they should be. If you have problems with SnGs and/or MTTs please try it with the english client of your pokersite.

The latest HM version is 1.09.03 (not a beta), please update: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe

And please check your Auto-Import settings, FTP is not configured, you need to add "G:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory\" to this.

And you have configured no hero in the Hud Options->Setup hero names.
You should define an alias containing all your screen names under options -> player aliases and choose this alias for your hero name and as player for the reports.

G:\Program Files\PokerStars\HandHistory,True,True,C:\HMArchiv e
