Hi

Currently I run several cash tables on a monitor whilst running a couple more on my laptop screen along with HEM. Whenever I bring up HEM on my laptop the HUD elements stay on top making it tricky-ish to look at the stats I want. Is there a way to change this?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? What site(s)?

Is HUD Options > Tables Preferences > [ ] Force on Top, on or off? Try toggling it.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or later for w7) installed.

If none of that helps, also try to reset your hud preferences to default.

1) Close HM and the Table Manager. Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
2) Export any custom HUD configs and Copy/Paste your \Config folder before deleting any files as a backup.
3) Delete your existing HUD Prefs files, so HM will rebuild them to default. If you have any custom HUD's export them first and/or copy the \config folder to back them up.
4) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\prefs.xml, pospref.txt, and pospref2.txt.
5) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and test on a single cash table.

I toggled the 'force on-top" box which does work. The problem is that when that box is checked, the HUD elements display ontop of any window i choose to bring up in front of my poker table. If it is unchecked however, then the HUD elements are constantly disappearing behind the table instead. I can't seem to get the happy medium where they stay displayed above the client graphics but behind other windows. My OS is windows vista, antivirus is Norton. If the only option is to start messing arouns with files and firewalls though, I'm happy to leave it as I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to that and it's not a massive problem, just a bit inconvenient

Deleting/resetting the HUD will possibly cure it for you. If you need help just let me know and we could schedule a time for me to take a look at it.
