Hi, I was just wondering what formula HEM uses to compute the bb/100 and BB/100 stats when it combines more than 1 limit?

Say for instance I have 100,000 hands at 1/2NL with a win-rate of 4bb/100 and 2BB/100 and then 80,000 hands of 2/4NL with a win-rate of 1bb/100 and 0.5BB/100 . How does HEM come up with the total bb/100 and BB/100 at the bottom of the reports tab.

I figure it averages them together, however, can someone break down the math for me on how it works, thanks a ton.

Hi, it actually calculates bb's won for each hand and then divides that by total number of hands. So, if you played an even amount of 1/2 and 2/4 hands then the total would be the average of the two but if you played twice as many 1/2 hands then the total would be skewed towards that number as it should be,
