Can someone explain to me what the vpip/pfr essentially means? I am familiar with vpip and pfr individually but when put together, what does this really mean?

I made a search and it seems to say that your pfr should be hovering around 50% of your vpip?

VPIP/PFR is not "one" stat. They are two stats, which just happen to often be found next to each other.

The combination: (I'll simplify things, usually it helps to ALSO take agression factor into account)
HIGH VPIP / LOW PFR = passive calling station
HIGH VPIP / HIGH PFR = maniac
LOW VPIP / LOW PFR = tight player*

The best tight-aggressive players have a PFR that is almost as high as their VPIP.
