Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Mine seems to work OK from there.

or when I click on a Player Panel in hand replayer

This functionality was accidentally removed and should be reintroduced in a future update.

Thanks for the reply Fozzy. I successfully ran the update but still no go. Is there a log that might tell me what's happening?

it appears that it does work against anything except pocket 2's. I was trying to look at a hand where I had flopped a third 2 and ended up losing to a gutshot straight. So I tried with another hand and no problem. Went back and tried with another pocket 2 hand and nothing....maybe the message is "Don't play poket 2's ever"

I will try and reproduce this and forward to the developer.

1) Clear your web cache, and download the beta update again, from the link in my signature, with another browser if possible.
2) Right-Click > Save Link As to save it to a different folder.
3) Reboot, and run the installer first thing.
4) Make sure the update is installing to the proper \holdem manager folder

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 or else you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. Windows 7 you MUST set all the executables to always run as admin.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171
