I just installed HM on window 7 and I followed all the instructions. It works fine, except Hud is not working. However, as you can see from the photo below, images would over lap cause some images to get blocked out. I can't see my hourly rate and the "change" word is not displayed correctly. This happens though out HM. Please help. Thank you.

The text overlapping is because you are using large/120 dpi scaling for the text. Change it to normal/96.

For the HUD issues:

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Under Windows 7 you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe to be started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executable's and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Try the table finder - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=54

*If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

I right click on Holdemmanager.exe and click "run as admin" and holdem manager start up and the hud works fine. But when I close down HM and open it back up using the regular way (using the icon on the desktop), it starts up fine but the Hud won't launch. Do I have to do the run admin thing every time I use HM? Thank alot for the help.

PS. I also did "run as admin" for the other 2 files already.

If you follow the instructions above, to set that option on the compatibility tab, it will always run as admin.
