Hi,

what is the difference between the "River Call Efficiency" and the "XRiver Call Efficiency stat"? They produce very different results.

Can you please open a new thread in the forum and post a screenshot? I'm not sure what you are talking about.

by the way: yesterday i tried to figure out what these stats mean and did some calculations. at least i could figure out what the "regular" Call River Efficiency stat describes and according to my calculations that is:

just considering a single hand:

if we lose: River Call Efficiency = 0
if we win: River Call Efficiency = total pot (without deducting the rake!)/the price of our river call

is it really the developer's intention to not deduct the rake? imo this is not good. the rake doesn't go into my pocket. so when i want to use the river call efficiency stat to evaluate my river calls, i think it is bad to treat the rake as part of my profit.

i give you an example for this:

http://weaktight.com/1723082

the price for my river call is: $36
the total pot after my call incl. rake is: $128
the total pot that i actually win is: $126
the river call efficiency stat acc. to HM is: 3.56

which equals to: $128/$36 = 3.5555
while $126/$36 would be 3.50.

btw: I'm using HM Professional 1.09.02

Thanks, i'll forward it to the developers.

the original question was not answered...

Sorry, the XRiver Call Efficiency is not a valid stat. It was added in testing because someone thought there was an error in the formula for the call efficiency but there in fact wasn't one and this debug stat was accidentally left in for a couple of builds
