Changing Sites

I played my first time on Ultimate Bet today. Previously I had only played on FTP. I went to HUD Options and tried to change from FTP tab to end tab for UB. I tried just hitting "Apply", just hitting "Save", and hitting "Apply", and then "Save", but nothing ever came up, and when I'd return to HUD Options it was always back on the FTP Tab. What am I doing wrong? Also I do use a different player name on UB-should I be inputting that somewhere when I play there. I didn't like playing without the hand data, even though your software doesn't supply nearly as much info as it used to. Help!

I don't really understand your problem, there is no need to configure anything in the Hud options for UB if you have only one hud.

For the player names you should create an alias: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=35

Are you talking about the Use For: tab in the HUD Options > Player Preferences? Set the Default HUD to a site you never play and set your FTP hud to Any Site.




What am I doing wrong?

Did you configure the auto import folder for UB? http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=150



Also I do use a different player name on UB-should I be inputting that somewhere when I play there.

I have no idea what you and Fozzi are talking about. I'm very technically challenged. You guys had to install it for me. I expect it then to be turnkey which this isn't. When I started playing the game on Ultimate Bet NOTHING CAME UP on my table. So I hit up HUD Options and went to the place you call "Site Options" with 5 tabs-at one end is Full Tilt, and the other end is "Absolute/UB". Why is that page there if not needed? You make this all very confusing to the non-geek. I just want some poker info. I just upgraded(?) to 1.09.02. When I started I could get hand data on not only my table, but on other tables in that MTT or SNG. Now if I'm not sitting at the table there's no data. In addition on large table data box it no longer shows $ W/L over last 5 min., 10 min., ....Session. Guess I'll just use the lesser service on FTP only.

That is for the Live-Tracking options. It doesn't have anything to do with importing live hands. You setup that under Options > Configure Auto Import Folders.

Are you referring to Full Tilt? They quit writing observed hand histories to prevent datamining. If you play cash games you can 'pre-fetch' the HUD for stars/ftp - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=29

Hmm, I can't recall any recent reports of this, but this seems like the least of your problems right now.
