Hey,

I haven't opened HEM in a few weeks in case that's relevant, and now this error appears when i try to open it. After a few seconds it closes both error and hem windows, here's a screenshot i managed to take before it crashes.

Also, i have updated the client (1.09.02) and if i try to ignore the error it stays at "Validating..." for ever

Some details about your system would be helpful. Please post the error details also, if possible.

What operating system, firewall, and anti-virus? Does it work OK if you downgrade to one of the beta versions here - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=11865

Windows XP with ActiveArmor Firewall and Antivir 9 (the one which labels the .exe files as dangerous since beta 38) - i tried the steps described in the other thread (full uninstall using revo uninstaller etc.) and tried everything after beta 38, which is the last version that works.

I also tried unloading firewall, antivirus and other stuff (tableninja for example) from ram which didn't work either. I guess I didn't shut down spybot and allsnap the last time I tried and could try that, too.

Let me know if you need any other info or help investigating this issue (maybe you have a debug version or something?)

There is a chance the spybot teatimer could be causing a conflict. I am not sure what else to suggest, so I guess we should schedule a support session so I can look at it personally and try some of the steps to fix it.

Please email me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/TeamViewerQS.exe. Please let me know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you.

Just to say fozzy, this is the same error as reported in this (http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=21672) thread. If you click details it gives the JIT error.

I just tried running 1.09 with spybot and allsnap disabled, no success... Do you still need the teamviewer session? I could certainly arrange that, but the stacktrace should provide much better insight to the one who has the sourcecode I guess?

Can you post the details of your error?

Please try to Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Download and run this unisntaller - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
2) Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

Thank you for letting me that was the solution. It helps in the future, for others with similar problems.
