Hi!

I have windows 7.
I installed HM and postgresql-8.4
I didnt have to change UAC, firewall or antivirus. Everything seems to work. I did however change to "run as administrators" on the .exe files and I started the secondary service in administrative tools.

The only thing that puzzles me is that somehow postgres decided to create a new Windows user called Postgresql. I do not know how this happend. Can I simply delete this user and continue using my Administrator account or what is up with that account?

Thanks alot.

Our new pginstaller will hide the user by default, but you must have used the installer from Enterprise DB.

Follow these instructions, replacing 'postgres' for ' __vmware_user__'
