backups not working

hi,
i made several backups with the 1.08 latest betas before 1.09 was released
now i need to restore one bu and using 1.09.02

it restore the buckups in pgadmin like i always did

in the cashgame tab i chose alias or a player, select all hands and no hands are loaded.
in the player tab i see that there are players imported.

any suggestions how to get that backups working?

Create a new database via pgadmin and use the same coding as the original database (SQL_ASCII or UTF8).

Then restore the backup to this database.
