View Full Version : Quick start Guide Problem

Hi !!

I just installed it and i was following the instructions of the QuickStart Guide

Everything was doing fine.... i arrived to the step called "Set up your Hero Name"

i did what the text said , and here comes my first doubt...when a hand is finished the text in the Manager says :

"Files imported : 1/1
Hands imported : 0/0 Hands : 0,0"

I dont know really if it is importing something or not !! I go to the folder where PokerStars puts my hands and the hands that i just played are really there....
i ewnt to your FAQ where it says i have to go to Report - Filter- Clear-Today and it just popped up a text that says that "You have not selected Players.."

Now comes my second doubt and the big problem :

I go , as the guide says , to the select player screen while i am playing in a table...and nothing is shown when i try to look for me or for any name !! THere are only 3 guys playing at my table so i did like 1 or 2 orbits

So i punch Cash Games and try to find some player from there...and nothing
I pick where it says "Use and group by currently active players ...." and it tells me that "there are no active players found and to make sure auto import is on - it is- and that i am playing at tables - i am- "

SO what more can i say?

My Holdem version is 1.09 , i only play with Pokerstars...and i got Kapersky , i remember something about it when i isntalled the Manager

I did not try with changing the database and disabling UAC because i did not want to make more mess :-)


Can anybody help me ??? :)

You may have to uninstall kaspersky - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=20382&highlight=kaspersky

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 or else you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. Windows 7 you MUST set all the executables to always run as admin.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

If that doesnt help try uninstalling kaspersky and rebooting.
