When my files are put into HEM or PosgresSLQ, where do they go? I do a daily file backup and I want to make sure my notes and hands are being saved, so if anything happens I have them when I reformat my computer.

The hands get imported and converted into the sql DB. HM then archives the original files that it reads thru auto-import. It does not archive hands that you Import From Folder manually.

Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

The notes are part of the database, so you should export those occasionally. I also recommend you export your hands, hud configs, and tourney summaries if any.
