I'm frustrated.
Out of thin air, Holdem Manager (HUD) didn't work anymore. So I don't see any stats.
I tried a lot, so maybe I made it even worse.

I'm playing on Ultimate bet and my auto importing files are the handhistory and subfolders. the handhistory is working.
My archive folder is a new created folder by me with the name HMarchive. but even after playing a few hands, theres nothing in this folder. in the poker application/ultimatebet folder there's something, though: there are .agr and textfiles.

When I click on auto import, there's written, that its importing... but there arend bars in the field and to me it seems that it doesn't import.

I also created a new datebase but that didn't help.

And last but not least, I updated the HM with the newest version.

Please help me

You tried a lot from the following but please crosscheck it again and post the answers to the FAQ so that we get some details about your system:

*Please try updating to the latest version from the link in my signature.

*If you have Vista/Windows7, please verify that UAC is off. If it is on, please turn it off and reboot. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73.
Or make sure that holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe, dbcontrolpanel.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu under compatibilty.

*If that doesn't help, please answer and post these questions: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=174

you were right, i really had the UAC on. But even after turning it off, it still doesn't work.

Maybe one of the following 4 circumstances lead the right way:

1. The table manager is opening and showing the right tables. but instead of 5/6 player (or so on) there's everytime 0/6 and also the other informations are 0.

2. The bar at "importing progress" is empty even after clicking on "auto import".

3. After clicking on auto import, it comes "internalizing import and then it stays at "auto import..." it doesn't load any file.

4. after opening my poker software, a message pop up: "aphh isn't working". But the software is running fine after closing the message.

I really hope you can help me.

[I]

1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using?

1.09.02

If you don't have the latest version, go to the releases forum and download the newest version and relaunch the HUD to see if the problem still exists
2) a. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?

b. Which type of game(s) are you playing? NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT

NL Texas Holdem

c. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?

yes

3) Often times, it is one setting or one box that has not been selected that causes the problem. Please see our detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with select poker sites to make sure that your HUD is set up properly for your selected poker site.

set up properly for UB. one thing i wasn't able to check: disable postql in the antifirewall.

4) Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the correct folder.

the handhistorie is showing in the correct folder, but i don't now if the .agr and the ho_game_1241...txt files should really be saved in the ultimate bet folder. I made a HMarchive folder and also configurated the archivefolder as this one, but there's nothing in there. even after playing a couple of hands.
location for the handhistory: C:\Poker Application\UltimateBet

If you can see the hand histories, right-click on the hand history, choose Properties and you should see the location of the hand history. Please highlight that location and copy and paste that location into the answer. This can be done by highlighting the text by holding down the left mouse button while highlighting the text and then right-clicking while the text is highlighted and choosing copy and then paste it into the forum.
4) If the hand histories are not showing up in the folder, then go back to the FAQ, as they should show you how to check the settings in the lobby to configure the poker site to save the Hand History and make sure its sending the Hand Histories to the correct location. Contact your poker site if your unsure to find out where you can set the location of the hand histories to save to.
5) So by now you should have confirmed in answering each question that you have setup the folders correctly and the hands are appearing in the correct folder.
Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager? Test this by playing a couple of hands and then going to the Reports tab in Holdem Manager. Navigate to Filter > Clear and for the date filter choose today. Do the hands that you just played import successfully?

no it doesn't show anything

5a) If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database.

i created a new database and tried a couple of hands.but it still doesn't work. i did set it up as default database

6) Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work?

yes, but no

7) If you open the hand history files, are they written in English? Note that they should be. If you have problems with SnGs and/or MTTs please try it with the english client of your pokersite.

they are written in english. i'm playing cash NL

8) Make sure UAC is disabled and unselect it and restart if it is.

is disabled and unselected

9) Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.
If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager. To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

What happens if you try the handhistory files from the UB subfolder via import file or import from folder?

Does it appear if you enable hud options > tables preferences > force on top?

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The "importing\hud data" folder
4) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

Your new archive folder is definitely wrong, change it back to c:\HMArchive and move the files/folders from the ultimate bet\handhistory folder to this folder.

Uncheck import from subfolders and try again.

i really appreciate your help, and I hope your not at the end of your knowledge, because even that didn't help. I've uploaded two screenshots, maybe I didn't understand you correctly

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file again. Screen shots dont tell us how you configured the settings.

I think you still have this setup incorrect.

<setting name="AutoImportFolderList">C:\Poker Application\UltimateBet\HandHistory,False,True,C:\ HMarchiv
</setting>

You have it set to not import from sub-folders, and UB is going to make folder for your screen name like you had before (until you moved it manually to your archive). If you are going to have it not import from sub-folders you must pick the actual hand history folder where the text files appear.

I think it should be more like this:

<setting name="AutoImportFolderList">C:\Poker Application\UltimateBet\HandHistory\JAYKAY1987,Fal se,True,C:\HMarchiv
</setting>

If that doesn't help try the table finder again - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=54

If that doesnt help Please email me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net with a link to this thread, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/TeamViewerQS.exe. Please let me know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you.
