Setting Up Stars for Zoom Tables

NB: There might be an issue with XP users where all the stats show as -/-/-/-/-/-/ and were looking into this.
Please create a new database before trying this version as there is still some internal testing going on and still some features that need to be added.

First download this version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HMUpdateRelease.exe

If you have UAC turned on you must set stars to run as admin otherwise the zoom hud will not work. If you have UAC off you dont need to configure anything, everything should work fine out of the box.

To do this please close HM2 and Poker Stars.
1) Go to C:\Program Files\PokerStars (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version)

2) Right click the PokerStars.exe and choose “Properties”.

3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select “Run this program as an Administrator”.
If this option is greyed out it is because the UAC is disabled and you basically running as admin so no need to change anything.

4) Please repeat steps 1-3 for PokerStarsUpdate.exe and also for holdemmanager.exe in C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version) although holdemmanager.exe should be already set to run as admin by default.

Make sure:

- these 2 options are enabled: HUD Options > additional hud filters > filter by limits > [x] include hands from other limits, and [x] mix ftp rush and non rush stats
- preferred seat is set in HM1 HUD Options > Seating Preferences
- hero name is set under HUD Options > Set Hero Name
- prefetch off in HUD Options > Site Options
- stars hh folder is in autoimport and that autoimport is running


Troubleshooting

If stars wont run after ticking run as admin
If stars wont run after ticking run as admin you need to also tick run as admin for PokerStarsUpdate.exe


If your HUD is lagging behind or not showing
NB: In the rare case of your hud is lagging behind or not showing then in almost every case its because you haven't set PokerStars.exe and PokerStarspdate.exe and holdemmanager.exe to run as admin as explained above.

If it still wont work Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot of your desktop - Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm)

with the following:

1) The table manager

3) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
4) The "\rvg software\holdem manager\importing\hud data" folder AND the importing\hem data folder.

Seeing correct players but wrong stats
If your seeing the correct players but no stats or not the correct stats please follow the instructions above for sending a log but also send a screenshot of your filters in Hud Options > Hud Filters

Hud doesnt show up until the 2nd hand on each table
This is a known issue were working on, we may not be able to provide a solution but are continuing to look into it

The Hero count is sometimes a few hands behind
You will see this especially if you use fast fold a lot, the reason is we dont import the hand until the hand is finished and when you fold the hand is still playing away and so it could be 1-2 mins before the hand is imported and shows up in your Hero HUD, this is normal and to be expected and there is no possible way to avoid this

Then save this ZoomTables.xml file http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/ZoomTables.xml with the file in C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder and choose overwrite when asked. (This is a temp update)

I tried to do this and it tells me I don't have permission to save in this location?

I have a hud with correct players and stats. The hud is not lagging, but keeps rotating (I dont know how to describe). Hero's position is fixed in Zoom but Hero's (and other players) stats just keeps rotating every hand.

Preferred seat is off and I dont have any problems on normal tables.

I tried to do this and it tells me I don't have permission to save in this location?

Save it somewhere else first: like your \downloads folder or \desktop, then copy/paste it to it's final location.

This should have been resolved in our latest build. Please close HM and install this update to be sure you are fully updated - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_ReleaseZoom3rdApril.exe

If you still have problems try setting your HM1 > HUD Options > Seating Preferences... to '5' for 9max and '3' for 6max.

no zoom hands are being tracked into the database, no graphs, no stats. HUD is working but I need to analyze my game with the stats.

Where is pokerstarsupdate.exe? I dont think i have it. Also i dont have a compatibility tab when i right click the pokerstars>properties thing, however I have given administrator full permissions under the security tab is this correct?

The problem Im having is no HUD appears but hands import fine. So I guess its because I dont have the exe file to run as admin :S?


OK its working now after some fiddling... although i have somehow managed to colour code myself on starts... i thought that was impossible is this something to do with HM?

It works for a bit then stops..

The seating is still wrong for me. I installed the update from April the 3rd. In HEM my seating preference for 6max is 3, in PS it's 3 (but I don't think its used).

When I'm in the BB the seating is correct, when I'm in the SB my stats are one to the right, when I'm on the button it's 2 to the right, etc.

Also the HUD seems to think I'm a regular player. It includes all the hands I've played and I have some stats that are set to only display on opponents, but they're also shown for me.

EDIT: changing the seating preferences in HEM doesn't seem to have any effect for ZOOM

Question: Is it possible to show only stats for current limit in the hud? Probably not so this turns into a request: Can you add an option that the HUD in zoom will only show zoom stats? I think this was possible for rush (Just noticed it, wish I had known it back in the day)

Hero stats show while I have them disabled in the player preferences menu.
I created a new database and I am running everything as administrator.
The xml file is in the config folder.
Changing the preferred seat option won't help.

but in sessions or results neither at graph there is no any hand only eleven nl2 (NOT ZOOM) hands what i did play to test hm2 hud but i would like to play with hm1

what should i do to see my 35k hands?

Preferred Seating + HERO HUD displaying stats based on ALL hands are known issue. We're still working on a fix for this.

Ok, then you need to create a new database before installing the update. Switch this new database to default and install the update again. You will need to reimport your hands to the new database.

I have this on my desktop and saved ( copied to ) the Config file, i did not see any overwrite when asked ..it just sits there under StatRanges.

Wait for the final 1.12.10. The missing main filter for zoom hands messes things up. I'd use a seperate Database for ZOOM for now. Thats what I'm doing at least.

I think they changed the table name in the header from eg "Table 'bltable.1241569043.1242243001' 9-max" to "Table 'Arp' 9-max"

The update runs a database update which may need more than 10 minutes if your database is large or your computer slow. Just let it run overnight and make sure to have enough free space on your HDD.

If you can't get past that error you may need to create a new database and import your original hands to rebuild your database.

Manually run the \rvg software\holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe > connect > create new database

*Now import your \HMArchive - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

I already did double check all those settings. It won't help. The hands are imported and there is a HUD showing. All stats are showing at different seats, sometimes not even in the correct order. I'm clueless.

Some customers on XP are still having problems while others on XP have no issues at all.

Thank you for the info. We were aware of the problem on omaha hands in HM1 but thought NL was still OK.

I already did double check all those settings. It won't help. The hands are imported and there is a HUD showing. All stats are showing at different seats, sometimes not even in the correct order. I'm clueless.

Yes, this is a known issue, and will be fixed in the next update. (also the replayer isn't showing proper stats when you replay Zoom hands)

There are three issues here:

-2 hud options--> additional HUD filters--> being able to filter in/out zoom and non-zoom hands for the HUD
1/2 still need to be fixed, but don't require a new database
-3 HoldemManager knows a hand is a Zoom hand based on the table name. Unfortunately we made two mistakes/typos in the table name list. If -by this error- a Zoom hand was imported as a non-zoom hand, the only fix is to delete/purge the hands and reimport them (or reimport all into a new database).

Downloaded the update and followed instructions from the first post. When I go to open my Hm1 it loads forever and doesn't respond?

I don't think you understood my question.

I just wanted to know if I need to create a new db if zoom hud is working perfectly fine without doing so? btw, right now zoom hands are not showing at any specific stake. i.e. I play nl50 zoom and filter for nl50 hands, zoom hands are not showing there. This is normal, right?

Ok have about a database of 3-4mil hands and it's taken 5 hours or so thus far? Any ideas on how long the wait could take for this?

For me the HUD isn't refreshing as fast as it should. It's refreshing a bunch of hands away of the current dealt hand, which makes it useless. When I open 4 zoom tables at once, it will only show up in the first one.
I have tried making a new database just for zoom and I am running every software as admin.

1. Game type description called "Zoom NL" disappeared (maybee a PS update).

2. I talked to a bunch of ppl and _nobody_ was able to complete the database update.

3. XP version crashes frequently (sometimes HUD only, sometimes the whole HEM).

I have played about 50 hands testing this out and clearly have hands on players that are coming around for a second and third time.

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HMONE-44: ZoomTables.xml in HM1 includes incorrect table name.

If you have a slower PC (laptop with 5,400rpm HDD) it can take quite some time. If you don't want to wait any longer you can kill the process but you will then have to create a new database within 1.12.10 and import all your old hands. Reverting back to 1.12.09 will only delay the inevitable database update.


If you can't get past that error you may need to create a new database and import your original hands to rebuild your database.

Manually run the \rvg software\holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe > connect > create new database

*Now import your \HMArchive - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

NVM I think I fixed it by going to HUD Options--> Additional HUD Filters
and including the two "filter by limits" on the right.

Some people are having problems if they have a large database and/or slow PC, or they already had some latent database problems this update will bring the problems out, but the vast majority of customers are not having problems considering the number of downloads compared to number of forum/email complaints we have received.


3. XP version crashes frequently (sometimes HUD only, sometimes the whole HEM).

Enable logging from the HUD options->Table prefs menu. When the crash happens again, go to the logs\log.txt file and move it to another location before you restart the hud. I want to get the 'crash' log.txt file after you finish playing. If you restart the hud before moving the log.txt file, it is overwritten.

Please email them to support@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread and your forum name.


Please attach your holdemmanager.config and prefs.xml file from C:\Program Files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager and prefs. Windows hides 'known file extensions' by default. Show Extensions :: Scott Granneman (http://www.granneman.com/techinfo/windows/showextensions/)


From your Windows "Start" button, select "Run..."

Type DXDIAG in the "Open:" field and hit Enter.

DXDIAG will start, and may display a prompt that begins "Do you want to allow DxDiag to check if your drivers are digitally signed..." Answer "Yes" to this query if it appears.

A window entitled "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" appears, and in the lower left corner, a progress meter begins to advance towards the right as DXDIAG collects information relating to the system's hardware and Windows component configuration.

When the progress indicator disappears, hit the "Save All Information" button. Save this file as DXDIAG.TXT where it can be easily located. By default, DXDIAG will place this file on the Desktop.

Note: If you do not see a button that allows you to save the output, you will need to log on to Windows as the Administrator.

If i go to the zoomtables i see how the hands are imported through autoimport...but like i said, i don´t have access to the hands...and for sure the HUD is not working as well...

please help :confused:

The automatic reply stated that emails are responded to within a few hours. Quote: almost always within a couple hours and rarely more than 24. Well, it has been 24 hours. thanks. Actually some hands were importing as normal hands, some hands without a stake. I created a new db and now everything is importing as normal hands, i.e. nl50zoom is showing as nl50 hands. I can try to reproduce the problem later today

Ever since the pokerstars update a couple of days ago (AFAIK they changed some text in the HHs), my zoom hands have been importing as non-zoom. The problem I have with this is the following:

There is no option to merge zoom/non-zoom stats in the HUD so right now if I have 100 zoom hands on player x, and I play 3 hours of zoom and we play another 200 hands together, his hud stats are not going to update because the HUD is only using ZOOM hands, but even though we're playing zoom HEM is importing the hands as non-zoom.
Or, if there's a player I have 0 hands on at zoom, the HUD will still show 0 hands after 3 hrs of play even tho we've played together quite a bit

Is there anything to do about this?

(I'm running win 7, running everything as admin and apart from this issue, everything is working perfectly)

This is a known issue and it has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. While I do not have a specific date for when this issue will be resolved, we are putting out updates regularly.

thanks. Actually some hands were importing as normal hands, some hands without a stake. I created a new db and now everything is importing as normal hands, i.e. nl50zoom is showing as nl50 hands. I can try to reproduce the problem later today


Ever since the pokerstars update a couple of days ago (AFAIK they changed some text in the HHs), my zoom hands have been importing as non-zoom. The problem I have with this is the following:

These problems should be fixed in the latest internal build - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.10_06Apr2012b.exe

You will need to purge the hands that were imported as non-zoom hands and import them again from your archive folder.

-options--> settings--> purge hands (will delete handhistory, hand from graph, $Won from sessions, etc. everything, so hand won't be used anymore for stats)

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.


If you continue to have problems, try the following -

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot of your desktop - Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm)

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
4) The "\rvg software\holdem manager\importing\hud data" folder AND the \appdata\roaming\hem data folder.

Please Zip these folders and email them, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

Make sure:

- preferred seat is set in HM1 HUD Options > Seating Preferences
- hero name is set under HUD Options > Set Hero Name
- prefetch off in HUD Options > Site Options
- stars hh folder is in autoimport and that autoimport is running
- try toggling the HUD Options > additional hud filters > filter by limites > [ ] include hands from other limits
If you have UAC turned on you must set stars to run as admin otherwise the zoom hud will not work. If you have UAC off you dont need to configure anything, everything should work fine out of the box.

To do this please close HM2 and Poker Stars.
1) Go to C:\Program Files\PokerStars (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version)

2) Right click the PokerStars.exe and choose “Properties”.

3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select “Run this program as an Administrator”.
If this option is greyed out it is because the UAC is disabled and you basically running as admin so no need to change anything.

4) Please repeat steps 1-3 for PokerStarsUpdate.exe and also for holdemmanager.exe in C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version) although holdemmanager.exe should be already set to run as admin by default.


If it still wont work Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot of your desktop.

with the following:

1) The table manager

Ive just tried this latest update ..done everything you mentioned and now i dont even get a HUD showing zero stats ... i just dont get a HUD at all now.

Managed to try it for 10 hands and somehow managed to get 2 outered in that time ..

I might as well just wait until you lot finally figure this out.

when I installed the april 6th update, I purged all my hands since ZOOM started (16 march) and re-imported them again.

my hud then went to a 19k sample to a ~40k sample (I re-imported ~25k hands)

but then I realized that the installation of the update was not correct since I had PokerStars client open. So I installed the april 6th update again, purged all my hands played since march 16th, re-imported them again and now my HUD shows a 70k for me. Am I importing my hands duplicate?

what does the option "Pre-fetch one hand" mean? should I have it checked?

AND I noticed that I played against the same players several hands during my session, and still their hand sample is 0 (Zero).

AND I noticed that some hands are NOT imported. I just played a single full round in a 6-max table, and had a KQ that I folded and is NOT shown in the reports.

and what about the mucked cards?

1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\prefs.xml. If you want to reset your HUD panel positions also, delete: pospref.txt, and pospref2.txt, and pospref4.txt.
3) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and test on a single cash table.

All of these problems are caused by a recent change to the format of the zoom hand histories. You will need to wait until we release a fix later this week to address the new hand history format. As soon as we have an update for it we will post it in this thread.

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HMONE-48: Stars Zoom detected as nonzoom - changed handhistory.

Duplicate hands will be skipped/ignored and should not total up as duplicates in the hands count.

This is for pre-fetching observed hands on regular tables before you play a hand to aid in table selection. For zoom we have had the best luck when this option is disabled but that was before they changed the zoom hand history format. For now you will just need to wait until we release a patch to address the new hand history format.

HM2 seems to have less of these importing/parsing problems with the new hand history format. If you would like a 30 day trial code for HM2 please send an email to sales@holdemmanager.com with the subject line of '30 more days'.

I am not sure how/if the mucked cards function on the zoom tables off the top of my head as I am in the USA and haven't been able to participate in the zoom internal testing.

the new update shot the import for a regular table.

i had one 5/10Euro table yesterday where i couldnt get a hud started, no matter what i did. it worked for all tables, but not for this one.table was shown in table manager even.

- restart hud
- restart hem
- restart stars client (kill process, so i stay on the tables)
- restart hem again

then i switched back to the last public release and it worked again immediately

If I try to go to the reports tab though I get the following error:

"The following error occured when running this report: ERROR: 22012: division by zero"

I've never had this before and it loads yesterday's report(without any zoom hands) just fine. Any idea what's causing this?

Im really REALLY looking forward to when your fixing this hand history bug .

Having the HUD continually appear for a session then not appear at all in the next session is enough to drive anyone mad.

Today is another example of this ... works fine for the first session ... play another about 90 minutes later and no HUD at all.

That is because it is not yet reliable enough to be an official update. If we made it official and all of the HM1 customers downloaded it with these zoom importing problems it would cause an over-load of support questions for us. Once we get these importing problems with some zoom tables fixed and tested it will become an official release but I don't have an ETA yet.

We understand the problems are frustrating but the feedback from you guys on the forums helps us to get more feedback quicker than if we only tested it with our internal testers.

Are you trying to go to Cash or Tourney reports? Try going to the other one from what you tried before and go to Filter > Clear and then Filter > Use for all. Also try enabling the Options > Settings... > Miscellaneous > [x] Auto apply filter changes to all tabs.


If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

2) Uninstall HM with Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily, Forced Uninstall (http://www.revouninstaller.com) using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files. If you have Holdem Manager 2 installed do not delete any folders in C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager. If Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\HoldemManager.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

The only slight problem with it is if a player is sitting at one of my tables and they have an '&' in their name, it causes my HUD to temporarily freeze on all my tables. As soon as that player is gone, my HUD instantly updates itself to the correct names and stats on all tables. (I also have this exact problem with HM2).

Once we have a possible fix for this problem and have performed a little bit of internal testing to confirm the fix we will upload it and post it in this thread for you to test and give us feedback. This is a known bug with a variety of special characters. Please zip and email a sample of the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com and reference 'HM-4503: Zoom HUD wrong when hero name has non-english chars' in the email.

Yes, this is because of the importing/parsing problems in HMONE-47 and HMONE-48 that the programmer is working on today. Hopefully the next internal update link we post in this thread next will have these resolved but I can't be sure if that will be resolved today or not.

I have HMONE-26 error, means NOTHING works, no HUD, no session reports, no graphs...I just cannot do NOTHING...i cannot play normal tables since 4 days as well...thats just a lot of money i miss...

When you will fix this???

Regarding Zoom HUD without autoimport: HM will show Zoom stats, but is autoimport is OFF - will not update database information with new played hands. It will show in HUD only stats you already have in DB.

does the HUD "refresh" every new hand? With the previous releases, the players didn't had their stats updated. A player with a sampe of 90 hands, had that same sample during the whole session, no matter how many hands I played against him

I'm not aware of issues with the cbet stat in HM1, if your having an issue please give me some details on the actual stat and ill look into it? Also note that if you have any concerns about using a beta build you should wait for a stable release, this is optional if you would like to test if an issue affecting you is fixed and give us additional feedback

Try moving the hands to a new folder and reimporting them if the problem persists please email the hands to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and detail a summary of the issue your having

I imported about 5k hand sample into a new DB with 1.12.10 and i have stats for BB fold, BB defend and BB reraise steal from BTN,

So ignore any "not responding" error but wait for the program to unfreeze and the database update to finish.
Make sure you have enough free diskspace.
If you have a 40 GB database--> the database update would like 10 GB of free space (to use temporarily)
Run dbcontrolpanel.exe and create a new database, if you get an error upon startup.

Oh, my bad, I confused one of your malfunctioning products (HEM2) with the other (HEM1) and confused the malfunctioning fold to cbet stats with the malfunctioning fold vs btn steal stats

Also note that I cannot wait for a 'stable' release if I want to play Zoom poker because all of your releases so far have had pretty huge bugs so it's either getting a beta build or not playing. I think given those options, I'm gonna go ahead and choose Pokertracker, thanks. It's funny how I paid money for HEM1, paid money for HEM2 and now if I want to play zoom I have to use the free PT4 beta.

OK it works. But HUD lags at least one hand. If I take my time (not fold ASAP) the HUD is alway at least 1 hand behind. So when starting a new hand, I get the stats of the previous one. Even if the hand lakes long (3 streets with showdown), still the wrong names...

A tiny part of me dies when i read this ...

fozzy seem to suggest there was a load of bugs due to the HH change at Stars and was probably the main reason why my HUD became so sporadic ..

I shall download the latest patch and open the umpteenth new database ..

Whats happened HEM ?.. you where always so good in sorting out the few problems we ever had with HEM1.

I have the problem of the "rotating" HUD, too (hud-elements are not in the right position) plus the hero-stats are is shown, even though it is disabled in the options.

I'm using the newest build, from April 12th.
I have set up the seating preference in the PokerStars and HoldemManager Software.
I have also set the the HeroName in HoldemManager. Everything else (import/stats) seems to work fine.

This might have to do with my hero name itself. It contains an | (not an 'L' or 'l' but a vertical line, ALT+0124). HM alwas displays my HeroName without that character, for example in the Reports-Section under Player, or if I search for that player. So if my name would be "aaa|bbb" HM would display it as "aaabbb". But this was also the case in older HM versions. My database is setup as an Unicode database.

EDIT:
Ah from the other thread in this forum I found out that diasabling prefetching might help. It solves the problem for me, no everything works fine, thanks.

After creating a new database the HUD works perfect, only i cannot see the hands in HM. How do I fix this? I selected my nickname, but the hands dont appear in reports or sessions. Also, if i click on players (has hundreds of players in it) i cannot see anything. Also, I just switched back to my old database for another pokersite, and HM doesnt want to start up anymore. Please assist

Thanks, I'm going to try it, but HM won't start up. I just switched back to my old database for another pokersite, and HM doesnt want to start up anymore. It just stays in the start up screen and i get the 'irresponsive' message. How can I get to Database Management outside the program?

Hero HUD will be back in the next build. Downgrading from 6646 to 6635 should also fix it.


"%" symbol, I just bumped the ticket on this.
HM2 had issues with < > / \ ? "
HM1 has issues with & | (vertical line). If you encounter another symbol/character that likely causes the same issue, please PM me what the player name was so I can add the info to the bug ticket.

Should fix the character issues, the vs steal stats and also the hud moving about, one note if your using an alias for the first time or creating a new database youll need to restart HM after importing hands for that hero

Again with these untested versions i recommend waiting for a stable release if your unsure about trying it but your help will speed up us getting a solid build out so if you can give feedback its always very much appreciated.

Please also realize if your HUD is always wrong this is nothing to do with the people with & causing the problem and its likely a setting issue, please start a new thread in the HM1 forums and explain your issue and well work through a solution.

Thats a difficult one to answer because it will require a lot of work to make it work without affecting peformance significantly due to the database structure. Were continuing to look into it.

One update: Were noticing that if the HUD does stop working the fix is to keep playing on a zoom table and then restart HM1 while still playing away, problem fixes itself then you restart the import and give it a couple of hands and it seems to work flawlessly then for hours/days. This is a right pain to track down because once we duplicate it and fix it we cant reproduce for another couple of hours or days. Were going to add logging but try that fix in the meantime while we continue to work on it.

This also causes the issue with the hero hud moving around, if you see the Hero HUD this means the Zoom HUD is not working and you have the bug i just mentioned, if zoom is working you should have no hero HUD

I updated to this last release and I still have the same problems:

Zoom Hands are imported but I can't see them in reports/sessions, etc
The Hud is showing the stats for the correct players but in different spots not where they are seating (it shows hero hud aswell)

I have the seat set to '4' on 6max. I'm gonna use the Lebron James technique, what should I do?

If I run a report on just today, it works and it only occurred after a specific day this week, so it might have something to do with a hand history file

After updating to 1.12.10 and then 1.12.10a I can't see in reports/sessions any hands played after I made the update... When will you release somthing solid?

edit: the auto import folder is set correctly and it says it's importing...

is this possible to set the HUD the way that I would only see my own hands from a given session? So far (I guess as a default) I get all the hands from my database. Of course I would like to see all other player's hands as usually. Would appreciate the reply.

hey, i updated the last hud, when i try to play zoom, the table comes up in my hud 'box', but there are no screens, or no hands on any oponents, there is no history at all, neither there is any screen on the zoom, its just pokerstars without hud?!

What do i have to do so i can run it like i could run it in rush full tilt poker?

When installing the update please make sure your stars client is not running.
After installing the update please reboot your computer and try again.
Stars Client must run as administrator.

You have to select HOLDEM in the list that probably shows OMAHA right now, on the top right of the reports screen

It's not that. I have played some hands and for unknown reasons I have no stats for some villains. In replayer I can see it but during the session HUD shows 0 hands for them.


When installing the update please make sure your stars client is not running.
After installing the update please reboot your computer and try again.
Stars Client must run as administrator.

Here is another update that should fix the weird characters causing hud not to update and some other minor issues http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release20thApril-1.exe, if your Zoom hud is not working please keep playing on a zoom table, close HM1 and restart it while continuing to play on the zoom table and if the problem still persists after that email support@holdemmanager.com and let us know a suitable time and timezone to do a teamviewer session

Pchelasso, if you create a new database and reimport the hands do you get the same issue? It might be that you imported some of the hands when we had issues with how HM was classifying zoom hands, if not also schedule a teamviewer session with us

Running the latest beta release, I get the following error whenever I run a report for the entire month in the report tab: ERROR: 22012: division by zero

If I run a report on just today, it works and it only occurred after a specific day this week, so it might have something to do with a hand history file

Error is still present after todays update.
No reports work for this month, which is a bit annoying

Edit:
When I take out "new stars VPP" of the reports, they work.

HUD is 1 hand behind any advice would be great after 1 month without a serious update, thinking about switching back to PTR they make updates of their products, seems that HM1 customers are not welcome anymore, but rather then updating to HM2 (that's what they want $$$) i buy PTR out of principle when nothing changes here...

Everything works fine beside ONE THING:

My Hero-Stats are missing at the table! I already controled if Hero Stats are enabled in Player-Preferences and the right Hero name is set. Everything's ok, but still no stats!

Anybody could help me??

I used to have that stat in my reports, but removed it a while ago, I do use the standard HEM rake stat and the new stars vpp stat.

Waited some time with updating from v1.1209. Updated to 10a today. Everything works fine except the stats from Hero. As mentioned earlier in this thread, those don't show up.

Hey i updated my HM1 to 1.12.10 and my hud only shows up on 1 of 4 tables. for example if the tables are called Stars, Stars #2, Stars #3, Stars #4. It will only show up on Stars. and the HUD is not correct with the player that is sitting in the seat. I thought it might be lagging but the HUD that pops up isnt the player that was sitting in the seat before so its like completely random stats popping up. Any help would be appreciated.

I have latest update.
This problem has been since 1st Zoom update.

I seem to be having a fair bit of lag when playing Zoom using XP, thankfully the HUD seems to have settled down and works ok.

I seem to be getting cursor lag more than anything and mainly when it imports the hands as i seem to have a load of duplicates imported every time ... the longer the session goes on ... the duplicates increase ..

I can normally 16+ table on the normal tables without this problem so was wondering if there is anything i can try to remedy this problem ?

My hud is popping up, yet there is either a delay/lag or some other issue causing the HUD to be completely out of sync with all of my zoom tables.

Hero's stats do not show in the HUD (while playing Zoom), eventhough "Disable Hero in HUD" is disabled. Hero's stats do show up in the Replayer btw.

how do I fix this issue?

edit: just read that this feature is not yet available. guess I'll just wait then. ;)

My HUD was 1 hand behind too. This problem only happens if i open Holdemmanager first and than Pokerstars. If i first log into PS and than open HM everyting works perfect.

I have the same problem now. Hands are being imported as the HUD is working fine but they do not show up in the Reports section.

Any advice?

If the hud is lagging: please make to start the Stars client as administrator and as helbost posted above it sometimes helps to start Stars before Holdemmanager.
Hero Hud is not available for Zoom.
If you see -/-/-/- stats for all players in the hud you need to enable "Include hands from other limits" and "Mix FTP Rush and non rush hands" in the additional hud filters
For empty reports please check your filters, date/time, player name and gametype settings. Please clear your filters (filter->clear) one time although it seems like no filters are defined.
Problems with special characters are still investigated.

@dimadu: what exactly do you mean? Can you contact sales@holdemmanager.com directly about the security problems?
