I remember reading that Cake is now allowing HUD's, I just tried & it didn't work. I config the auto import folder & setup Hero name.

Update to: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.10_02Apr2012.exe

Read: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/7/Cake+Poker+Setup
(ignore the statement on the FAQ on Cake not allowing a HUD)

And check is Cake is saving the handhistories.
Check if the hands are actually written to that folder.
And if HM1 imports them?

Working now, there is no option for Cake poker seating preference though.

Correct.. we still have to add that.
So the only way -for now- to have the HUD panels in the right position is to NOT use seating preferences in Cake and HM.
Just stay seated in whatever seat Cake seats you.

I changed the location & name of where cake saves the HH & also adjusted it in HEM & it stopped importing hands.

Change it back.

I'm on XP, so I do nothing about "UAC?" Since the Cake HH default location is "hidden" is says I have to go in & show hidden folders. Do I have to run w/this setting 24/7 now?

Once the folders are setup correctly, you can hide those folders again.

To unhide them: enable the option to see Hidden Files: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)

(it's somewhat similar for XP)

Do I ignore the UAC thing since i'm running XP?

Googled and came across this thread. Have a very similar problem and didn't want to create a new thread.

I've tried just about everything I can think of to configure HUD to work with Cake HU SNG's. I am using 2.0 software and for the life of me can't find a way to make it work.

-TableFinder recognizes the HU SNG table but the HUD doesn't show on the table
-HH folders are configured properly and found by HEM. Even re-routed auto import folders to re-feed HH's into HEM due to import issues with Cake when imported only once.
-UAC is off
-Use Win7 on 64 bit system.

I changed the default HH folder back & it's still not working.

Also, just tried updating to the linked update release ITT and now my HEM is not responding and won't open. :(

That one is a big database update. It's gonna take a long time to load. Just give it time.

@ Faccio

Thanks, I was able to get it to work. Initially it had the "not responding" message for a solid 5+ minutes. Decided to reboot and it worked within 1 minute. Doubt it was my hard drive as my C: is never used to store anything other than Windows programs and its 10,000 RPM but at any rate, that did the trick if anyone runs into problems and comes across this.

Still need help with HUD though.

The hands are being imported now?
It may be necessary to use the table finder:

I got it to work with table finder, Thanks.

Actually, the HUD showed up but it's not updating with new hands played. The table manager info/hands played stays stagnant.

Are you the hands being imported properly?
Try creating a new database: Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> Create New Database--> (set it as default)--> Start HoldemManager

Just to update everyone on my situation, I was able to get it working properly. That update helped for whatever reason b/c before that it didn't work with the exact configuration settings I have now.

@Faccio

I would re-import the HH's from your HEM Archive back into HEM as an auto-import option. When I did this all HH's were continuously being imported and thus added to the HUD stats. I can't speak for Cash games but this worked for SNGs.
