Just bought a new laptop and I'd like to get my database, settings etc from old laptop to new laptop. The FAQ section on this wasn't very helpful.

If someone could give me some steps to follow it would be great. Tyvm

Edit: Just noticed the sticky and tried following the steps but couldn't even turn off UAC, I don't get the screens that 'should' come up, please help me

When I try to sort out postgres, this message comes up:

The 'Secondary Logon' service is not running. This service is required for the installer to initialize the database. Please start this service and try again.

Idk what this and idk how to start this service. Can any1 help? Ty

Just got a new laptop and it won't let me. I've gone through the FAQ regarding this and at step #6, I don't get the same screen. I get a different one and there appears to be no box to unselect anywhere. Someone please help me

OK, lets stay in one thread.

For the basic windows things you should use Google, that gives you more information for Windows.
Check this thread: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/showthread.php?t=21121

The installation folder is sth like c:\program files\rvg software\holdemmanager
