Hi
Per the subject.
I paid for the registration on Friday.
It worked until today.
I reinstalled it. I reinstalled postgresql.
same message.
I turned off virus scanner: avira and superantivirus
UAC is disabled
I ran the sfc/scannow command. No integrity issues.
How do I get this program to work again?
I have vista.
I play on pokerstars.
what other info do you need?
Thank you.

Which HM Version?
Are you using a 3rd party firewall solution?

I am using the latest holdem + omaha version.
It stopped working after I started playing omaha hi lo and omaha
I am not using a firewall.
I use superantispyware and avira and spybot. I turned them off when I was reinstalling HoldemManager

Try uninstalling spybot temporarily, as the TeaTimer can cause problems sometimes.
Vista or w7?
Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 or else you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. Windows 7 you MUST set all the executables to always run as admin.

I have
Windows Vista Home Premium
Copyright 2007
Service Pack 1
Laptop: Hewlett Packard HP Pavillion dv6000
Processor: Intel(R) Core 2 CPU 2.00GHZ
Memory: 2.00 GB
System Type: 34 bit OS
While I have your attention
Would starting with a new laptop and using that laptop only for poker and holdem manager be likely to make me pain free?

Why is your program not working in my computer?
It worked fine for a while. I am perplexed.
I shut off tea timer, Avira and superantispyware, the window firewall. I then reinstalled HEM. "HEM has stopped working."
I've attached two files that supposedly describe the problem.
I got them fromt windows "problem reports and solutions."

Can you try uninstalling with revo again, and then install it to a different directory such as C:\Holdem Manager?
