I just purchased HEM, and attempting to install SQL until I get to step 9, where an Error comes up :::
'data directory error'
the specified data directory is not empty
if you have an existing database with the same major version umber, you do not need to initialize a database cluster
if you have an existing db with a diff major version you need to backup your old db and create a new one
So thinking that pt2 was creating this error, I opened pt2 and it brings up error, and something about administration running the program (even though I have already turned that setting off) and I open it and my entire DB, which I have saved before is wiped out. So i uninstall PT2, whatever, and I again try to install the SQl but still the same error
so now I'm without a DB and wondering what the hell this SQL shit is and how the hell do I fix it?
