postgresql encoding server setting

please, which encoding server have i use during the instalation postgresql 8.3? i found 2 instalation manuals on HM site.

Are you installing postgresql for the first time? If so, I will send you a copy of our new 8.4 installer to test.

It should work fine with either encoding actually. If you were to install 8.3, and update HM, you will create a UTF DB when make the first DB. http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146
