View Full Version : HoldemMgr crashes Postgre

Hey,

yesterday, I updated my Kaspersky 2009 to 2010 and everything was f... up. PostgreSQL would crash every 2-5minutes (along with drwatsn32.exe).

Afterwards, I tried to take the matters in my own hands and update PostgreSQL to 8.4.x, but it didn't work either. I decided to reinstall Postgre 8.3 from the HM website and also the HM client. But still, its not working, even if i have KIS2010 deactivated.

I also followed the guide to alter the KIS settings (turn heuristic scanning off and stuff), and also installed the beta updater for HM.

Right now, postgresql crashes silently and HM loses the db connection while importing hands - so it seems.

Kaspersky 2010 has major problems with postgresql. You will probably have to try an alternative until they get it fixed.

Affirmative. I deinstalled KIS2010 and everything works fine for now.

However, it still is a major issue... since I payed for those both licenses (HEM + KIS)...

We know but the problem has nothing to do with Holdemmanager, its postgresql and Kaspersky.

I suggest you contact Kaspersky support to help you.

I have same problem after update to new Kaspersky 2010 everything went crzy first it had found virus inside Hem folders but it worked fine until i fix the problem but after another update it has completly messed the postgresql now everything is stuck i hope they solve this soon.
