party rake calculation

last week or some more days HM2 shows in reports tab more rake(like 5% difference) then party is showing in poker client. why is that ? i believe in the beginning of this month it was pretty accurate.

One senior programmer wrote on this issue:

We've increased the accuracy of all the rake calculations, for Party{pler. If you summed up rake % for all players in hand on a small stakes table, it usually didn't add up to exactly 100% due to rounding issues. Now it will sum up to it, reflecting on more accurate rake values being awarded.

What could be happening though is that some sites (or rakeback affiliates) would round up values in pretty much the same way we did, which would lead to inaccuracy on their part. If we could determine the exact expected rakeback amount from the site (by an affiliate link or even in the site lobby, but not with 3rd party scripts), I can adjust on a per-site basis. Otherwise, I consider the new calculations are more accurate and correct.
