This should fix the auto import:

Under Windows 7 you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe to be started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executable's and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

This should cure the false positive:

*Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Same basic thing with vista.

Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 or else you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator.

What antivirus and firewall are you using?

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

If you are using comodo or kaspersky, you may need to try uninstalling it temporarily.

This same error happened to me a copule days ago when playing at Unibet (Prima) at one point i had a lot of connection breaks and maybe that messed up my shit. anyways, never had the hud working at unibet becase it just didnt work.. was just callecting data for fun.... however, yesterday, when tried to play and started the autoimporter it imported some hands, if i remember correctly, but when i closed it, it just jammed there sayin "stopping" or whatever it says.

I tried to manually import unibet hands and it worked.
Then tried normal autoimport, didnt work. jammed again. Theb I tried manual import for full tilt hands. didnt work. Then I deleted plo hilo and stud hi histories from fulltilt and the manual import worked, almost 17/35 files! and then nothing, clicked stop import and it jammed again :D

lol. hwats wrong, seems like this problem is quite new, as threre are a lot of questions.
FYI, the problem occurred with bet 42, and is still the same with the offcilia 1.09.

I have added exceptions for both windows amd McAfee firewalls. UAC is turned off in my Vista as well.

Now i deleted all fulltilt histories and deleted unibet autoimport folder, and i could start the import and stop it. so far so good. lets try with unibet turned on.. it is working, but i forgot if i had deleted all unibet histories or not, because now it is working.

so i guess there is something wrong with some crooked or bad hand histories, at least at fulltilt, and maybe unibet. Let's see if it will work for long or not.

Sorry for messy message, i hope it helps somebody.

Well im "old school" so it took me a while to finally buck up and buy a software like this so thats why this is driving me nuts. When I originally had the program I had no problems whatsoever, but then my laptop crashed and I had to reinstall HEM on my new computer. Well its been a complete nighmare to get this running. Why they dont have some phone support so they can walk me through this mess, instead posting on forums ! try this, "this should work" "do this" how bout refund my $ and forget it Ill try something else!
