Hello guys, last two days I'm having problems with HEM not importing right @ Bossmedia(redbet).

For example yesterday I was down 7 buy ins in cashier but HEM only showed ~4 buy ins loss so apparently some of the hands were missing I thought and went to check only to see that some of them are imported twice.

Here is a screenshot of what it looks like:

The duplicate hands are a sign of a corrupt database.

Update to: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.12.10_24Mar2012.exe

Note the HM1 update will perform a big database update when you run it.
So ignore any "not responding" error but wait for the program to unfreeze and the database update to finish.
Make sure you have enough free diskspace.
If you have a 40 GB database--> the database update would like 10 GB of free space (to use temporarily)

Run dbcontrolpanel.exe and create a new database, Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> Create New Database--> (set it as default)--> Start HoldemManager -->

And reimport your hands into a new database.

Hello again, I got the same problem again on my new database.

Do you know what might be the cause because it sux to make new database every one or two months?

Most likely one of the incomplete Boss Media hands is corrupting the database.
This hand SHOULD be imported as an import error (thus NOT making it into your database).

But for some reason it's still being imported and corrupts the database.
I've seen this before with Boss Media hands, where the end TIME (or start TIME) of a hand is missing.

Finding this hand will be difficult. You'd have to create a database: import all hands of one specific MONTH.
Check if the bug has occurred. If it has, create a NEW database, import hands from a WEEK-->
DAY--> find the FILE that's causing it--> eventually find the hand.
It's a very rare problem. Only 1 hand is likely causing this.
