error at startup

hi, i have formatted my pc , and installed the new 1.09 hm, ( was using older version + beta update) and now at startup i am getting this error :

i am using kaspersky internet security 7.0 ( no problems were with the older version of hm)

at the first time of this error a text file opened and it said to go to KAV settings, services and enable compatibility mode or smth, but i in my kav setting doesnt seem to have this option

i also tried your faq and uninstalled the .net 2.0 version and installed new 3.5 version from the link in faq, but this doesnt help.


p.s. i use windows xp.

It happens exactly the same thing to me

In one of the tabs there is something like a compatibilty mode. Activate it, reboot your computer and it will work.
I just had this problem on a customers pc

then would you like the service. I click yes it makes postgres start i go into the holdemmanager and start playing after some hands the message comes again.

Kaspersky 2010 doesnt work with Postgresql. You need to uninstall it and reboot your computer.

I've uninstal Postgresql 8.3 and HM. Then instaled PostgreSQL 8.4 and then HM 1.09 and on the first open after I connect to Postgresql this window:

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue.

If you are using Kaspersky or Comdo please try uninstalling them and reboot.

First try to delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it, and reboot.

If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=171

Please try following all of these FAQs, step by step:

2) reinstall the same version of postgresql, using the same \data folder - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=177

If that doesn't help you will probably have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely and reimport your hands.

The problem is between Kaspersky and PostgreSQL, not HM. I suggest you find a good, free alternative to use for now until Kaspersky fixes it. Or ask them for a refund because you are unable to use it.

I don't think it is a problem with Kaspersky 2010, probably with some update made today.
I uninstal Kaspersky 2010 (witch I instal today as a update to Kaspersky 2009), uninstal HM and PostgreSQL. Then reinstal PostgreSQL 8.4 and HM 1.09 and every thing was fine.... Then instaled Kaspersky 2009 (with which yesterday everything was ok), then made the updates and boommm... the same problem again:
