The tables I open at Pokerstars with Plrs/Flop of 30+%, with rare exceptions show up as 'tablevpip' between 15 and 22 percent in HM.

I know VPiP is not the same as Plrs/Flop, but that can't account for the huge differences, I would say.

Does anyone have something meaningful to say about this?

Plyrs/Flop and VPIP are different formulas, AFAIK. I cant say how much of a difference this accounts for in general, but your observations are accurate and correct. VPIP is always a smaller number than Plyrs/Flop. The Plyrs/Flop stats in the poker lobbies use the last 20 pots I believe, to form their average. The HEM HUD Table Averages uses all the hands in your DB, for all the players at the table. In general, if you have a lot of hands on the table villains, your HUD table averages are much more reliable and useful than the lobby stats from the poker client.
