cant lounch the softwear

i installed postgresql
and when i try to lounch holdem manager a window popup and when i do connect it says: the user and/or password incorrect. would u like holdem manager will accept it?
when i push yes it says: deniad holdem manager cannot make this change...
what to do?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe


PT3's default name/password is - postgres/dbpass
HM's default name/password is - postgres/postgrespass

svcpass is another possibility

If you open up \Holdem Manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe it should show you the password for HEM.

If you still can't get connected thru HM you can either try to remove the password requirement entirely.

If that doesnt help reinstall sql to a new, empty DB:

For reinstalling SQL to a new/empty DB, please follow these steps:

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) manually delete or rename the Program Files\Postgresql folders
3) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator

net user postgres /delete
4) reboot.
5) Install PostgreSQL 8.4, with your firewall uninstalled or turned off if windows firewall - http://www.enterprisedb.com/products/pgdownload.do#windows
