You should typically be able to get it via HM2 > Settings > Check For Updates menu/button

If you have any problems auto-updating, use this link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_2_Beta.exe

There is a link to that same URL on our downloads page you can use at any time to get the latest public update. This can be used if you have problems auto-updating or were using an internal version from the forums and needed to rollback - Downloads and Manuals - Hold'Em Manager, Omaha Manager & HM Apps (http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/downloads-manuals.php)

DOWNLOAD HOLD'EM MANAGER 2, OMAHA MANAGER 2, & HM APPS
Holdem Manager 2
(First Time Install Only)

Update Holdem Manager 2
(If You Already Have Hold'em or Omaha Manager Installed)

At least on my system there is no reaction at all when I press "Check for update". I saw once a message box that there is no update available but most of the times when I press the button there is not even that message. I have checked if there is a log file entry when the button is pressed but found nothing. I am on 6384 at the moment.

It sounds like the config file is damaged/corrupted and the auto-update prompt version is missing/wrong:

Please delete the holdemmanager.config file

Windows hides 'known file extensions' by default. Show Extensions :: Scott Granneman (http://www.granneman.com/techinfo/windows/showextensions/)

Win7: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\

XP: c:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\

Please start HM2 and (if you have not already manually update to version 6483) update to the latest build via HM2 > Settings > Check For Updates

The trick for me was not only to delete the holdemmanager.config but also the holdemmanager.config.bak
Seems like instead of creating a new one if it is missing it falls back to the backup file instead.

Oh, thank you for letting me know. I will update my canned reply to include the .bak file.
