Does the window become normal again if you resize it?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all videocard driver updates and .net framework updates.

I think I might have norrowed down the origin of the problem a little bit:
I use a dual monitor setup.
The windows get messed up only on my second monitor (regardless of which of my monitors I plug into my PC to get a dual monitor setup)
The problem only occurs with HEM.

I have the same problem, also win 7 and dual monitor.

@rufio: are you also using a laptop?
What sort of videocard chip/video out does the computer have?

rufio
03-24-2012, 06:32 AM
Yes, its a Mac Book Pro, Intel HD Graphics 3000, AMD Radeon HD 6750M

As an experiment do you have the same issue, not using the dual monitor setup, but completely disconnecting the external monitor?

On the MacBook, you're using Windows 7? via VMWare/Bootcamp? Does the Windows come with any pre-installed program like:
StarDocks, RapidBoot, or a program responsible for handling the dual monitor (Ultramon), or the Windows custom THEME?

I dont even need to disconnect my second monitor( the one the problem occurs on) I just "slide" the HEM windows to the laptop monitor and the windows behave normally.

I just installed windows on a new SSD and installed the drivers without bootcamp. Didnt install any special things, its a normal windows installation. When I play just on the Laptop and unplug the 30 inch screen it works.

rufio

even when the external monitor is connected its working normal on the laptop screen

Can any of you check if there's no registry hack / special crack update for the videocard driver for this, (or google if it's a known issue affecting other software), caused by the video card driver/

rufio

I think its solved for me, I switched the main display to the external monitor, now its working on the external. I just have a very small prob that when Its my turn on another table the main popup often jumps to the very right popup, but the popup is not freezing anymore, so i can just click the other tabs again.

Patvs
03-24-2012, 07:38 AM
So temporary solution: try to switch the MAIN primary screen--> to the external monitor-->
making the laptop monitor the 'secondary' screen.

Can you duplicate this dan233?

dan233
03-24-2012, 08:04 AM
yes if it s set as main monitor it resolves the issue for now

ennn
03-24-2012, 08:13 AM
iam also using ATI (hd5670) and dual monitors. problem is always on main screen. secondary works fine

Is everybody/anyone using UltraMon?

no, desktop.

dan233
03-24-2012, 08:56 AM
I m not using ultramon. would it solve the issue ?

Patvs
03-24-2012, 09:27 AM
No, I have UltraMon and actually can duplicate the issue.
I have two identical monitors 1920x1080 and have apparantly never moved HM2 to my left screen.
I wrote a bug ticket for it with your screenshots HM-4455

ennn
03-24-2012, 09:31 AM
just installed ultramon - bug is still here
