my machine closed down whilst importing hands.
Then when i started HEM it froze at the "initializing database" stage
so i installed latest version of HEM.
And when i started HEM
I got "the following error occured when trying to open the database. Unable to read from the transport connection: AN existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host."
I clicked ok
And A DAtabase Control Panel apperas, it says

"Holdem Manager needs to know where to find the database. PLease enter in the details and click connect
Sever Name 127.0.0.1
Prt number 5432
login name postgre
password postgrespass
These look fine so i click OK and get the following error:

Same problem just occured to me after my pc was forced into rebooting by windows update. I'm quite sure the problem will be there once again.

Tried to stop/start the service manually and all but this is just similar to the last time when a windows update stopped HEM from working

It's ok here. Installed latest beta and suddenly i could stop/start the postgre service manually, so once i did that HEM works :)
