Hi,

I have HoldemManager Pro for 1 month now.
And it's the 3th time i've come to the next problem.

When i try to start HM it says i'm in a trial version.
And when i try to register, it says:

"The serial number is invalid or could not be used to unlock this software. please try again or contact customer service for assistance.

I tried this, which i found in another thread:

1) Downgrade to 1.09 Beta 34 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.09.34.exe
2) Please enable the option to see Hidden Files - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...utorial62.html
3) Delete \RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat
4) Register the 1.09 Beta 34 version
5) Close HEM
6) Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
7) Open HEM

Couldnt get by step 4. Because i get the same error.
Tried to reset the Serial, but that doesn't help either

The only thing that works is to completly delete HM and reinstall it again on my computer.

I hope another solution is found.

Thanks in advance,

You don't give any details about your computer so its hard to help you.

Next time you have the problem search for the hidden file holdemmanager.exe.ldat in your holdemmanager installation folder and delete it. (Its a hidden file so you may need to activate the options to show hidden files/folders under control panel->folder options ->view).

Tried to reset the Serial, but that doesn't help either

Or does this take some time to apply?

No that needs no time.

Another try:
look in C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses
and delete everything holdemmanager related.

It could also be a Malware problem:

1) First you have to rename cmd.exe (C:\Windows\System32) and regedit.exe (C:\Windows)
to something like dmc.com.exe and editreg.com.exe respectively.

2) Open the registry by starting the renamed editreg.com.exe file and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Cu rrentVersion\Drivers32

3) There will be a key called "aux" and it should be pointing to
"wdmaud.drv". If it's not, then change it to the proper value.

4) If you find a key called "aux2" then DELETE it altogether. This is
also malware-related.

5) Reboot!

Tried the above thing, but that is not working either.
When I reset the code, do I get a new one, or does it reset the code i am using. Tried that again, but nothing changes.

I am going to reinstall holdem manager tomorrow, because i want it to work when i play poker.

I hope we get a solution one day, because this is not the way i want my legal software to work ;)
