View Full Version : Running HEM on 2 computers/1 database

I want to run HEM on my laptop against the Postgres database on my desktop. I've disabled the Windoze firewall on the desktop, but when I try to connect to the database from the lappy it tells me the connection has been forcibly reset.

I know the IP/username/password/etc is correct.

Suggestions?

Never mind. I forgot that PostgreSQL defaults to only allowing connections from localhost. A quick edit to pg_hba.conf and all is well.
