I followed the faq here: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=96

My stats still keep moving and I have no idea why. I also made a video if that helps: http://www.screentoaster.com/watch/stV0tXR0xIR1xZRlVcUlJRVVdT/hembug

What you are describing is happening because you long ago rearranged the HUD before setting your preferred seating properly. When you use a preferred seat and sit down at a cash table and get hud stats before playing, and then move the HUD panels before HM has imported your own hand, they will be messed back up as soon as HM imports your first played hand repositions the HUD panels.

You need to make sure to not move anyone's HUD that appears to be incorrect, until you can see your own Hero stats. You cna also use the HUD Options > Table Preferences > Mucked Card and Alignment Edit Mode to help align the stats and mucked cards.

Set the preferred seating for Stars in the poker client, then in Holdem Manager to match. HUD Options > Preferred Seating

Turn on Pre-Fetch. (on by default actually)
HUD Options > Site Options > Pokerstars > 5 (Make note of the pre-fetch folder path)

Options > Configure Auto import Folders > Add > C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\HEM Data

Close HM and the Table Manager

Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.

\Holdem Manager\Importing\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt need to be deleted.

Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and start stars and open 1 cash table.

After a couple hands it will pre-fetch some observed hands to show the HUD.

Use Ctrl+Right-Click+Drag to move the panels Move the main/first panel for each player first. This is the panel with the Note Icon (astersik). Once the main panel is in the proper position, you can position the sub-panels for each player. Once they are set, go to Table Manager > File > Save Positions.

Close that table, open a new one, and sit to play. If the HUD pops up while waiting for the big blind, do not move any hud panels. Once HM imports your first played hand it will spin the HUD to correct for the auto-center feature.

Did as you said. That didn't help. Also I don't think I moved anything around before setting the preferred seat.

One Note: I disabled WYSIWYG in the table preferences. The description says it arranges the hud on all tables accordingly. What it does here is arrange the stats of all other players on that same table when I move around the stats for one player. So when this is turned on I can't set the layout as I want to. Might that have something to do with it?

i forgot to ask if you are using beta 41? Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Are you using pre-fetch HUD? Do they appear correct when observing the table? Do they correct after playing your first hand? Do they later move again?

Also I don't think I moved anything around before setting the preferred seat.

What is your Pokerstars > Options > Preferred Seat set to? Post a screen shot if necessary. Chip tray (12 o'clock) is considered 'seat 0' and they go clockwise from there.

What is your HEM HUD Options > Seating Preferences set to?

If you have one table open with HUD showing, and use Right-Click (hold) + Drag, it should move the same panel for all players at that one table. Using multi-panels you want to move the main panel first (with the note icon/name) and then move the sub-panels. If you then use the Ctrl+Right-Click (hold both) and drag, it should move a single panel at a time.

It seems to work now. Strange. I changed nothing really. I just wanted to do the things in your second post, so I observed a table and arranged the stats there. Then I sat down and played a hand and now all the stats remain in the correct position. The one thing I did different is move the panels around with CTRL. Maybe it was that simple? Then I'm sorry for wasting your time, but thanks a lot anyways :)
