Error during installing postgres in Windows 7

Hello,

I am using Windows 7 and I have got an error during installation PostgresSQL database. In screen called "Initialize database cluster", Windows shows error called "Service check" which says "The Secondary Logon service is not running. This service is required for the installer to initializethe database. Please start this service and try again."

I have no idea what this means. I run system as administrator and I have tried to enable/disable User Access Control.

Could you please advise?

Secondary logon service is a standard Windows service. Since Windows 7 it is not started automatically by default. You need to start it via control panel -> administration -> services or Start -> run -> services.msc
