Missing hands on Microgaming

HM is missing a lot of hands since an update at 5050poker this morning. Especially my big winning hands seem to be missing but that might just be a coincidence. This is for omaha, dont know if its the same for holdem.

Hi,

Since the update I noticed that sometimes when I win a stack, HEM sees it as losing a stack... So far I have found 2 hand histories.

Both hands are all in (on flop or turn), but in the HEM replayer villian has a few euro's behind and the main pot doesn't go anywhere :-)

This is also on 5050 poker!

Microgaming changed something in their handhistory formatting.
We'll fix this in the next update.

Can you please tell when will you make the new update and will it be fixed for HM1+HM2 because on both versions I have the same problem?

It will be fixed for both HM1 and HM2.
I have no eta when the update will be released. The programmers are currently investigating the handhistories.

Will the update automatically fix the hand histories that have already been imported? If not is there any way to manually do this (deleting reimporting or something?).
Also, if there is no way of fixing past HH, does this affect player stats as displayed on hud?
Finally, is the rake amount tracked by HM also incorrect after the update?

You'll have to reimport the handhistories into a new database.
(or purge/delete the handhistories--> and reimport them)

Some sites shows the full amount to call/raise (like Microgaming until now), and others show only the actual difference from what the player already had wagered in that street (like in those new Microgaming hands).

Microgaming completely changed their handhistory formatting: Microgaming is changing the way they deal with call/raise amounts. And not every Microgaming skin is using the new formatting.
So we can't use a date parser (prior to date x = old formatting, newer hands are new formatting)


We're currently testing a fix for this. It will be fixed in the next update.

I have 1.12.10 working, but it doesn't seem to recognize ANY microgaming hands anymore. I got the hand histories from the last 10 days for microgaming and tried to import them manually from the file, but while it said Files Imported 1 of 1, it lists the Hands Imported, Duplicated Hands, Import Errors and Incomplete Hands all as 0.

I've also tried importing simply from the Archived hands section, but that didn't do much good either and after looking through the archived Microgaming hands, I'm not certain they're being archived at all. Either way getting the last 10 days worth of hands from the client should've worked, but it didn't.

Oh well... it does import hands correctly that I play it seems like. It also doesn't even recognize the .txt file anymore that I manually ask it to import.

To reimport the older files please copy the files to a different folder and import them via import file.
Already imported hands (with bugs) will be ignored as duplicates so you need to delete those hands before you can import them again.

With all the purging reimporting I think I messed something up, after the update I cant open HM. Freezes/crashes on the "initializing database" part. How can I fix it? Will reinstalling the whole thing work? Can I uninstall including deleting all hands from the database and then reimporting fresh from a new install?

Anyway, thanks TLXLM. Ive tried importing that file and it did import for a while without problems, but then doesnt show the hands in HM (either in hands or session tabs). Anyone? Just need to know how I can do a clean delete of all hands, and then reimport

Guys it's still not working correctly. Most hands are correct but not all. I am using the latest update and have re-installed the poker skin so no old .dat file.

Hello,

Just a clarification here, we would love to inform HM well in advance every time there is an update on its way. However, we are not informed when those updates are to be deployed. There is not any Microgaming skin with uniqe updates (might be some exceptions, but definately not on 5050poker), all updates will apply to all skins. However, HM do are usually very fast to fix issues when they occur, so as soon as we have experienced problems, HM has fixed it, so when other skins have got the very same update, it has been working fine for all players.

We have been first in line for new deployments for quite a while, but as we have complained, we will from now on be in the in the middle of the deployment schedule.

We are in contact with HM staff and Microgaming. Microgaming claims to have informed HM in advance, and if there is anything whatsoever we as a skin can do, we will obviously assist HM in that.

Update: Fix now working - Avast just didn't like it!

I cannot open my database also. And as somebody already mentioned, creating new one does not solve anything, when it's way too large to copy all hands there. Takes too long.

Are there any plans for a better salution to this problem ?

A database update is performed when you start the new 1.12.10 build.
The update can take a VERY long time. Ignore "not responding" messages, it should unfreeze when the update is finished.
The update requires a LOT of diskspace.

This can result in two errors:
-1 "out of diskspace error"--> just run it again but make sure you have enough diskspace.

-2 "An error occured while updating your DB (Big Pots Support) A timeout has occured. If you were establishing a connection, increase timeout value in Connection String. If you were executing a command, increate the CommandTimeout value in ConnectionString or in your Npgsql Command Object.

Please close down any other programs accessing the database & relaunch Holdem Manager."

For 2 I just wrote a bug report. Temporary solution is a new database.

I created new database, and imported hands from folder. But i can't select any players. And when I imported those hand to HM2 it also shows nothing.

I had the same problem. Made a new database, import from Microgaming/Poker ( into the new database ) everything. Then shut down HEM . Turn it on again with Database Control Panel , starting with the new database, then, make old database default and run HEM with it. It works for me :)
