Hi

I seem to be having a problem with HM 1.12.09 and my new skin on Microgaming, BetVictor.

HM only seems to be importing random hands every now and then. After playing 200 hands the HUD may only show 49, with a 3b of 0% while I have been 3betting a ton. You get the picture.

I have played on a different Microgaming skin before (NordicBet) with the same HM version, and had no problems there.

I tried exporting the hand histories from the client, but they are not in the correct format to be imported by HM.

Is there anything I could try?

The pokerclient is installed in english language?
Please create a new database for a test and import your BetVictor Hands to this database. How does it look?

Same Problem for me on Unibet. Yesterday everything worked fine. Importing into a new Database doesn't change anything. 3bet hands don't get imported except if you end up all in.

Yes, installed in English.

I created a new DB and it has the same problem. However I noticed there are 177 hands when I search for the player, but only 59 hands are showing up in reports. There are no filters activated what so ever. 100% Fresh DB.

yeah, same problem here with unibet on the microgaming network. FWIW they updated their software this morning, before that it worked fine, now it doesnt. it imports random hands, and the session reports are wrong(I won an all-in early), but it showed as the other player winning it. and I was up for the session, but it still showed me as down.

Same problem with Unibet - yesterday it was all fine, after todays update import is not working correctly, and the EV$adjusted calculations show incorrect values.

Email us a handhistory to support@holdemmanager.com of a hand that:
-doesn't show up in HoldemManager or
-does show up but is a hand where you 3betted that isn't registered as such (3bet% stays 0% after you import it).

Likely they changed something in the handhistory formatting.

How? Micro doesn't create .txt handhistorys. Just play for 5 minutes, probobably over 50% of the hands are missing.

SENT the .dat file. I really hope it helps you solve this problem. It's very short cuz I deleted it yesterday to try to fix it but didn't help.

I have the exact problem on 5050 Poker. Creating a new DB didn't help. I could send you .dat file, but it weighs over 220 MB :/

We're currently investigating some .dat files users have sent it.

A programmer is CURRENTLY working on it.
I'm not sure if he'll continue to work on it on sunday, but it should be fixed by monday.

We are waiting for this update guys, because our DBs are completely messed up due to incorrect hand import.

Microgaming completely changed their handhistory formatting: Microgaming is changing the way they deal with call/raise amounts. Some sites shows the full amount to call/raise (like Microgaming until now), and others show only the actual difference from what the player already had wagered in that street (like in new Microgaming hands).

And not every Microgaming skin is using the new formatting.
So we can't use a date parser (prior to date x = old formatting, newer hands are new formatting)


We're currently testing a fix for this.

same prob for me on 50/50 poker. I've not played since it started. I'm surprised they don't let you guys know what they're going to do before they actually update because it can't help their profits if there are other grinder like me taking some time off until it's fixed.

I didn't play aswell since it started+I have problems with HM2 and I am going to sell it ASAP because it honestly sucks.
This is a major needed update for HM1 and don't make us wait just because HM2 is your new up(down)grade (I've read that you are going to fix it 1st for HM2).
We payed for HM1 aswell.

I've downloaded the update and now my HM1 does not open at all. It's stuck at the message: "initalizing database" and not responding.. Any thoughts why?

edit: it just worked, if anyone will have the same problem just keep trying and it will open at last..

gonna test if the import problem is fixed now.

Try ignore the "not responding" and wait for it to unfreeze.
If you run dbcontrolpanel.exe in the HoldemManager folder, are you able to create and connect to a NEW database?

I've downloaded the update and now my HM1 does not open at all. It's stuck at the message: "initalizing database" and not responding.. Any thoughts why?


HM has crashed twice before it finally worked for the 3rd time. Now it opens normally. I will check whether it imports hands correctly later.

I have the same question. I deleted bad imported hands then exported hand from microgaming, but HM2 won't import it from exported file.

I have just done this - it works, my results look way closer like they should, though I still think it's not 100% accurate. Anyways, that's still better than having a completely messed up DB.

I hope that now all hands import correctly.

Keep on closing and restarting it using the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del). It worked after 3rd time for me.

The fix update doesn't work for me.It seemed to be working in the first few hundred hands but now it's the same problem as before, missing hands and showing incorrect numbers about the session winnings..

Some other users also reporetd that the update for HM1 does not work for them either..

Yesterday before 6470 update it worked fine today after I instaled 6470 update it started to miss some hands again...
EDIT: reinstaled 6450 update and it still misses atleast one big pot

For me - new hands are missing for sure. For the old hands I don't know anymore since after the mess up I forget what should be the correct summary.

The fix is in the link Pat posted.
If there are still hands missing please send us the handhistory file again.

If the update doesn't load: it runs a database update which may need some minutes to hours depending on your database size. During this the program displays "not responding.." as it runs the update in the background. Just let this update complete and it should work.
Please make sure to have enough free temporary space available on your C: partition.

If the update still fails for you create a new empty database in 1.12.09 and set it to default. Now install the 1.12.10 update, it should now work without problems. You can now try to switch to your original database which will be converted again. If this fails too please reimport your hands from the archive folder (default c:\hmarchive) to the new database.

HM imports all the hands for me I think, but displays wrong session profit. like im up 1 bi and HM takes it as almost 2 bi's..
Also I can't open the HUD in MTT anymore, before I used the table finder but now it doesnt show the table at all.. This is with the new update for HM1.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Which PostgreSQL version are you using?

Can you run dbcontrolpanel.exe--> and start HoldemManager by creating a new database first.

Still doesn't work. Get that error message after about 15min when trying to update with the new HM1 version. I'm on Windows 7 if that helps. Also tried optimizing the database using the older HM1 version before installing the new one but get the same error message.

My problems on 5050 Poker are gone since the 1.12.10 update. I didn't install this recent internal build with fix for 5050. Overall I can say everything is working more or less correctly.
My poker buddy had a problem on 5050, but this internal build has fixed it.

I'm on 50/50 poker. I downloaded this update and tried importing the gamehistory.dat after moving it to another folder but I got the message 0 files found to process. I then 'imported from folder' my HM archive folder and all hands were duplicate with about 50 or so import errors and about 10 incomplete HH's. I then tried importing the gamehistory.dat again and it seemed to work this time but I think there were still some errors. When I look at some HH in the replayer I can see errors there. Here's an example,

Any way to fix my DB?

Also, are these errors 'normal' and should I expect my HM to be importing hands correctly from now?

I can't run the file "dbcontrolpanel.exe". It just says there is no such file. I'm kind of computer illeterate and this whole ordeal doesnt seem easy for me to solve. Is there some other easier way to update HM1?

I've a question - How to open HUD for MTT at Unibet... I tried it like 5 times for the big tables - racetrack view and I can't do it. Before this missing hands etc. It was able to display stats for the players..I tried with table finder but nothing appears only cash tables and when I double click on the MTT table it opens something in the background with all the stats but nothing on the table..

sigh, my database is still bust. I'm on 50/50 poker I've tried moving the game history DAT file and importing it again. I've tried making a new database but 98% of my hands from this month are missing completely. When I import my HM archive to new DB I get 12 import errors and 48 incomplete hands. I've tried updating via all the recent links you've posted in this thread and gone through the same process and nothing is working.

Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> select your old database--> (set it as default)--> EXPORT hands
Then reimport them into a new database.

I've done this and opened a new database. 1.12.10 works then when i transfer back to my orginal database it crashes. If i were to reimport all my hands it would take about a week. is there any other options?

When it crashes. (even if you see the time out error)
Check Windows Task Manager, if postgres.exe and/or HoldemManager.exe is still using 15+% CPU usage.
If it does, the database update is actually still going on.

And it should take about an hour to finish.

ok so i tried this, then i get the error that i posted on page 6. press ok then hem just shuts down :S

if i purge old hand histories then export my database then reimport into new database will this be quicker? or will it export all hands anyway? sorry if this is a silly question but i've never used purge before.

There are two types of purges (delete)

-options--> settings--> purge hands (will delete handhistory, hand from graph, $Won from sessions, etc. everything, so hand won't be used anymore for stats)
-options--> settings--> observed HH configuration--> purge hands--> will delete the handhistory and therefore the ability to replay the hand, but the hand will still be used for the graph, $Won from sessions and for the HUD.




So if you use -options--> settings--> purge hands--->
it will result in less hands you can export.
