Secunia PSI is telling me to update "PostgreSQL 8.x" but i remember reading that we shouldn't change versions. Does that only apply to updating from, for example, 8.2 to 8.4?

I am running 8.4.7.1127 and it's advising me to install 8.4.11:

This program was detected as Insecure, it is strongly recommended that you apply the latest security patch from the vendor of the program.

The version detected of PostgreSQL 8.x was 8.4.7.1127 while the latest version including one or more security fixes is 8.4.11.

Yes, you can upgrade to 9.4

ive downloaded the 9.4.4-3 version, but still appears on my task manager postgresql(32 bits) the version i had before(8.4 i think), i wish to know if i can uninstall that old version and dont gonna cause some crash on HM2.....
appears this way to me on screenshot: https://gyazo.com/2eaef903a7fcbaa744ae62639f622980

when i search for the location on PostgresQL Server shows me the folder from new version (9.4), but when i do the same with the PostgreSQL (32bits) takes me to the 8.4 version, so it seems both are running at the same time on my task manager....

Yes, if you install both, they'll both run. One will be on port 5432, the second on port 5433.

You can uninstall the old one. You'll need to use a new database if you do.
